still no android 10 update nor miui 12 for europe model they promised, so they stopped it due to an error and i'm starting to believe it won't work, i'm not happy knowing that my other phone honor 8x which started with android 8.0 to soon switch to android 9.1 and at the beginning of the summer it was updated to android 10. and every month it gets security patch ubdate and 6-8 applications are updated daily, while redmi notes 8 , barely 1-2 applications per week, I'm honestly not satisfied and besides the 48mpx camera the quality is not good with honor of 20mpx camera is far better and the night shooting mode is superior while in redmi note 8 it does not exist.

It's slow, heats up, and battery life is poor. Which isn't to say MIUI on the Mi Note 3 is any better but once you install LineageOS it simply flies. Hopefully A50 will also be officially supported too. Imagine a 3 old phone still getting frequent security updates.

If you have more money, buy the galaxy a50. It has better display with the amoled display, and better camera. But this phone is already good for the price. I use this phone for my 2nd phone and I'm satisfied with the performance.

a notification appeared ''miui blockota-ginkgo
_global-V11.0.11.0P.zip''296.62MB and then i download and unzip and now it is in the internal memory but there is still nothing to do or I don't know what to do if anyone has a clue what's next and if this is needed for android 10. update or maybe it's a virus so if anyone knows I asked for help what else to do how to install or should to delete, my phone is MIUI Global 11.0.12.0(PCOMIXM) AND SECURITY PATCH 2020.11.01- thanks.

they are all on and this started happening from the previous security patch update but yesterday I got a security patch for 11.2020 and for now I think it's better and today all day messages arrive, thanks for your help.

I am confused in either buying redmi note 8 or redmi note9. From what i have heard the chipset, camera and finishing of redmi note 8 is way better. Should i opt for redmi note 8? I intend of buying new phone next year. Should i wait for any other handset to be released or wait for price drop in any other phone. Pls help

there is no android 10 update yet, if someone got it, I'm interested in whether the problem for deep sleep is solved, because when the phone is idle then it does not receive messages on viber or late

Using this phone right now and it's phenomenal ,i absolutely love it. Updated to miui 12 android 10 feels so good, you're gonna have to deal with some bugs though, they're not deal breakers but they do exist.

To be completely honest I it'sok at most the things it does. Please keep reading and hear me out. If all you do is text call watch videos and so some very light gaming ( low grafix no 3d and not online) then you should be ok. Picture and video taking is maybe a c+ at best. If you use your phone a lot or do anything heavy or are thinking of doing anything heavy you need a more powerful phone look somewhere else. This is my honest review I have been using it for a year now and if you are thinking of buying it consider carefully.

Shows high internet speed in speed meter but slow internet after miui 12 update. When checking data usage daily it shows updater app used whole data. Whole 1.5 gb data used by updater app every day. Recharge money wasted😥
