I agree with you . I wanted to say that redmi note 8 worked well until recently and when it got a previous update miui then it started messing up, and what you were saying, the messages are 1-2 hours late so wi-fi internet and mobile data are not synchronized so you have to restart for it to work but with the next update it improved and now it's ok but still the Honor 8x that I have before this one is far better in everything and I stay on it

I've come to realize that Android updates are not important to me anymore, and that the best choice is last years flagship for a little more than a midrange phone.
Atleast you get security updates that way, if you buy a Samsung that is.

it looks nice and it's not bad, but it has flaws and I don't like miui because it's not very well organized or poorly set schedule and there are ads that annoy me and I know I won't buy xiaomi again, huawei-honor are far better
