I've been having a consistant issue with the booting up time with this device. It used to take about 2-3 minutes to boot up after it dies, but now the time takes more than 20-30 minutes sometimes up to an hour. it loads the screen but keep saying to wait for the device to finish booting before use and then shuts down again. Work decently once this is over and the phone is functioning but have to make sure the phone doesn't ever die

It's enough said with "still no Android 10". Android updates are NOT just features, there are API updates for different functionality as well. MIUI fanboys seem to know so little about the things they use. You are not any different from ignorant iPhone users.

-Helio g90t is much better than sd665.
-the display is bigger in rn8 pro and also gets rid of the ugly redmi branding placed on the chin bezel on rn8
-has ufs which is better than emmc storage
-better main camera and selfie camera
-bigger battery

and miui isn't trash. It just comes with lots of extra features that's not available in stock android. It makes the skin a bit heavy but I can deal with that. There are ads but those can be disabled easily.
Plus if you hate miui you can always flash any custom rom. Plenty of options to choose from.

MIUI is trash and they abandon devices within a month or two, because they launch a new model immediately. Here we are waiting for Android 10...still.
"You shouldn't have cheaped out" doesn't work because everyone says how "great" budget Xiaomi phones are. So what is it? Did I cheap out? Did Xiaomi price their phone too low? If they priced it higher, it wouldn't have helped the software experience either. Conclusion: Xiaomi is trash and every model is abandoned and outdated within one or two months.
