Battery life is not good, but Camera is amazing and much better than many expensive phones also you can install G cam

Really bad camera, is terrible! Before this I had the note 5 and was waaaay better the camera and the fingerprint thing was also faster in the note5. Everything else is the same and not bad.

it has only wifi issues, it works fine with mobile data. i really hope it will get fixed once miui got officially released on this device

On paper it's the best smartphone which has Sd665 11nm chipset, 48mp quard camera, Full Hd Display!!! But practically it's battery is not too strong as expected, 48 mp camera is just a gimic and most importantly Xiaomi is not so careful on giving timely updates. That's why a late 2019 model is still running with Android 9 and there's no news came from either sources about it's Android 10 update. Its frustrating & overall Redmi Note 8 not worth buying.

LOL3, 19 Sep 2020you do know that android updates to budget phones slow them... moreIf anything holds it back, it's the eMMC storage and perhaps RAM. You don't need a faster processor for an OS update necessarily.
