I want to buy my mom a new phone, do you recommend Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 or should I stick to Samsung and stay away from Chinese phones? as I heared this phone has network drop problem,, please help me I'm planning to buy the 4GB ram 64GB/128GB storage variant and she will use it only for social apps, browsing, taking photos... not for games and heavy tasks.

Just got this phone couple of days back, my first Xiaomi phone & it's great value for money. I really love this phone it looks gorgeous, has very good cameras (surprisingly good considering the price) solid battery life, fast & responsive. Chose it over the Samsung A50, A30 & no regrets whatsoever. If you want a complete phone at a great price then Note 8 is the one to get.

Just an adapter from a reputable brand with Qualcomm Quickcharge 2.0 or higher I believe. You can buy those on Amazon from Ugreen or Anker for example. Chargers heat all the time, even the original 10W one is like 50-60C while charging.

I bought a charger on AliExpress (Power Quick 3.0) with 12v to 1.6a and the charger gets very hot and even the cell phone. I bought a USB 3.1a cable and the charger gets very hot. Do you have a correct model?
