This phone is for gamers on the cheap, if you want a camera phone there are alternatives.

I hate this kind of people who think that becaus of the MediaTek cpu this phone is useless... You got a ton of articles even official sites where you can see that this phone will get Android 10. I don't even care what you think, this is the truth, if you don't know only to blame MediaTek for anything, even if you don't have the phone, even if you haven't seen his great performance in anything, photos (I mean the cpu, yeah you need a good cpu for good photos, for good AI for good zooming and video recording), and especially gaming. It beats all the budget phones out there.

Except the 400-600+$ ones the FHD+ resolution is the default resolution nowadays. And it is normal. The S9+ has got only a 6.2 inch display and a bigger resolution. This one got a 6.53 inch display and a smaller resolution. As I said, besides the more expensive phones, the FHD+ resolution is the default one. And the S9+ has got a bigger one on a smaller display. It is like you would put dots(pixels) for example 1080 pixels on a 6.2 inch display or on a 6.53 inch display, and you have to cover the whole screen area, so you need bigger pixels, which result in a smaller ppi(pixelsperinch), which results in a little bit more pixelated image because of the bigger dots(pixels). 1440p pixels on a smaller display will always look good. 1440p pixels on a way bigger display (such as a very big TV) will look awfull. The S9+ got a 529 ppi and the RN8P got 395 ppi. Nowadays the phones, besides the 1440p ones, got somewhere around 390-410 ppi. I hope that I could help you. Reply for more infos. Have a good day!

Xiaomi RedMi note 8 pro, 3 months since I got this phone and I had a numerous restarts by itself, ads in every Mi app, annoying, disturbing, poor quality photos, the touch screen sometimes doesn't work, the proximity sensor doesn't always work,no security update since November. I have visited the local Mi store, complaining for the ads, the answer was "sorry we can't fix that" and I will have to take the phone to the service because that wasn't their job I was told. Total disappointment

thats kinda weird...even my mums s9+ with 1440p can display 480p vids without issue and rn8 pro is only 1080p...its only keeping me away from buying this phone
