I am disappointed with the internet speed of this phone xioami note 8 pro is not encouraging at all both with MTN and AIRTEL SIM , is very slow compare with my Hauwei y9 prime i use before this note 8 pro. I am not happy the should send update for the speedy internet please

I confirm the problem with the sound recording by an external microphone. This is a serious drawback. Redmi Note 8 Pro does not support audio recording via an external microphone. GSMarena should inform about this in a review of this phone.

Many are concerned that whether there is a battery drain or heating issue with this phone. As far as I know I didn't faced any issue . In fact it last for 1.5 days even after above moderate usage . Period . Jst go for it

For OEM to issue update, first they have to receive the update code from Mtk. The faster Mtk can issue updates, the better (and even greater if they change their policy to open-source).

got issue with the Miss call alert dont know y but whenever anyone call me from anywhere got miss call alert n for callin person my phone is switched off. hope Xiaomi resolve it asap as its rally pain in brain....

So there is no more hope for rn8p getting next android version 10 due to the mediatek soc.

Karthik, 18 Jan 2020How about the battery life while gaming ??4.5+ hours of game play and battery drops from 90 percent to 20 percent, i then put phone on charge and it reaches 20 percent to 60 percent in around 30-35 minutes, and then i play again, its a awesome phone

So, as xiaomi said, we will have to wait until 2020. So I guess that in maximum a few weeks we will all get it. It depends on your region.
