You won't have any problems in direct sunlight despises this phone has an ips panel not a super amoled one. If you manually set the brightness to maximum you will get 500 nits but if you use automatic brightness the phone will go by itson into sunmode / sunnymode or something like that and go even brighter to 660 nits. So the visibillity in direct sunlight won't be a problem. You will just miss the AOD feature (Always On Display). It's not a deal breaker, for me at least. About the cameras.... You will get a better camera and more more more more detailed photos on the Xiaomi RN8 Pro. Only the depth sensor has 2MP instead of the A50's 5MP one. But you will get a dedicated Macro Camera as a bonus. That's pretty impressive. It hasn't got an outstanding performance but it is nice to have and you can take some really cool close-up photos with it. Auto-Focus to 2-10 cm! I hope that this helps. Maybe because it is a larger display and the PPI (pixelsperinch) is 395. I don't know anything for sure but does this issue persist when watching 1080p or 720p videos? It is kinda normal to get poor video quality at 360p or 480p.

            Why videos look bad in YouTube , Amazon prime, Netflix while using in 360p or 480p on redmi note 8 pro . I have older full hd phone there is no issue such that, even in my laptop I can watch 360p with good quality.can some has solutions?, Only HDR Content look good but normal videos look really bad

                  Watch out! Redmi Note 8 Pro does not work properly with external microphones. Do not buy this phone if you want to record movies and audio with an external microphone.

I don't have it but I am thinking about buying it pretty soon. There are no bad sides about this phone besides that there is no OIS on the selfie camera. I have seen a lot of reviews so I kind of know what I am talking about. For this price, you are getting very good specs, very good cameras and ofc, because of the specs, you get top performance in games. Oh I almost forgot to mention that it has no heating issues, it won't get warmer than 42 degrees Celsius and you have a battery that's gonna last for more than 7-9 hours, depends on how intensive you use your phone. Even while gaming you will lose approximately 20% battery per hour of PUBG Mobile on HD settings and Extreme fps. On max somewhere around 24% battery per hour. So you will be able to game with somewhere around 75-100% brightness at max settings for 4 hours or so. I don't think that you will play in direct sunlight so that the display will go from 500 nits to 660 nits because of the sunny mode (or something like that). You can only go to 500 nits manually but if you use automatic brightness it will go up to a maximum of 660 nits if needed. I hope that this helps.
