        Dont expect too much from this phone because its just a midrange phone that works like a flagship and a bang for the buck..The new G90T from mediatek is a great progress on their end, of course Qualcomm is still in the lead but like what Ive said, for the price, its a great deal.

            CPU is a little better
            GPU is about twice better
            RAM is faster
            Storage is UFS when Note 7 Pro uses older and slower eMMC
            ISP are better

            12nm is an improved version of 16nm from TSMC
            11nm is an improved version of 14nm from Samsung
            Both are in competition...
            When Apple A9 was released with both process, 16nm from TSMC was even better than 14nm from Samsung.

              I notice that redmi note 8 Pro performance is weaker than redmi note 7 pro I just saw that redmi note 7 pro is 675snapdragon which is on 11nm but redmi note 8 pro it's hello g90t which is on 12nm so I think is if u want for a better performance go for note 7 pro but for camera and others take 8 pro but I suggest for u all to buy 8 pro (if it's wrong then I'm sorry)

                Let me guess, Note 8 Pro will be available exclusively in several countries.

U can always use custom ROM.... moreThere will be no custom rom development especially official ones because even though xiaomi has released source code of red mi note 8 pro, they haven't released it partially. No code for touch screen etc. Because of this, no one can make custom rom and will be extremely unattractive for developers. At best you can hope for some personal attempt at patching together a rom but it will be half baked and probably riddled with malaaee and virus
