Should I buy Redmi Note 8 pro or K20 pro?

Very good phone for the money. U can always use custom ROM. Not so many like in SD but still if some1 says Mediatek has no custom Rom's is simply ignorant or lying. I have alternative ROM in my Redmi note 4 with helio.

And you know what? When device is available in Europe, you can find Kernel sources more often you think...

Or for Nokia 5.1, 5.1 Plus
...
Pray to see Note 8 Pro in Europe, you will find Kernel sources.
Pray for very good sales, you will have community and then devs will work on it.
