My co-worker has a note 8 pro, and I've got a realme 6 for my girlfriend as a new years present. They are literally the same phone, with minor differences. The choice basically is between side mounted fingerprint reader on the realme and back mounted reader on xiaomi. Also realme is a tad smaller, but you don't notice the difference if they both are put in cases.
The biggest difference is in the os skins. Realme is closer to the stock Android.
I'm upgrading from my 2016 phone in a month, and haven't decided myself which one of them I want.

uncle168, 31 Jan 2021i email ixmobile with my imei number they say my shopee pho... morei diy replaced the lcd brought online, it was tough removing the lcd until the glass separated from the led panel from the heat from my hair dryer they was water trapped in between even after 2 months and had no display when it tested it and thrown away if you want to replace better get a lcd with housing which will be easier to replace. i realised the rmn8p sold in 11.11 sale on shopee had the back casing top right side protruding with slight gap between the housing and back cover as i tried 3 times to glue it back removing any excess dry glue but the result is still slight protrude which is also good as when i replace battery in 2 years time i can easily use a guitar pick to remove the back cover from the slight gap. the gap was not noticable as xm use black glue but i buy the b7000 glue which dry is white so can see clearly. the batch on sale also have lcd touch problem on the bottom right corner when you have to press a few times for the lcd touch to response. otherwise its value for money at S$176 plus the S$24.34 i've spend to replace the lcd (lcd+glue+batt sticker) so total only cost S$200.34. i expect the phone to last for 4 years including 1 battery change in 2 years time. next time don't use squatting toilet liao easy to drop phone in the hole. keekeekee :D

Though it looks pretty thick, its actually pretty light and comfy to hold soo yeah.. imho u better is it for urself but i say its a good one 👍👍👍

Usam, 08 Feb 2021Is it safe to play pubg on note8 pro while charging?Ofc! Just be sure to enable the performance optimizations in the game turbo app and well.. all that can damage is the battery so yeah... It's still gonna last at least 2 years even if you play daily ^-^.

X3 will cost at least 200 euros or 240 dollars.. too different comparison. Yes it tops note 8 pro on many different kind of specs, but for this 2019 device, it still can offer many things on this 2021 with a cheap price below 150

I've been using Redmi Note 8 Pro 6/128GB MTK Helio G90T since May 2020.
My experience with this phone is awesome, I've not encountered any problems with the phone so far.
For Root Users
Unlocking its bootloader is among the easiest things to do. There are two ways of doing that but I will always recommend the official way of using the MiFlash Unlock Tool, wait for 7 days, and then BOOM.
For Gamers
I've used this phone to play PUBG Mobile game which is among the best online FPS games. RN8P is capable of supporting HDR+Ultra Graphics(Redmi Note 9 variants don't support) and still play 56-59 FPS.
For Other users
The camera is satisfying and great. For that price, Xiaomi is offering the best in this phone, battery life is okay. The best pick I can say.
