The Helio G90T is one of the best midrange chipsets despite it being 1 or 2 years old. It still holds up to this day and gaming performance is good on the Note 8 Pro. But if you add more, you can get the Note 9S. It has a Snapdragon 720G which is more optimized than the G90T.

It has android 10 and it will receive android 11 in the coming months. Performance wise it is very good, I rarely do heavy gaming and it gets the job done perfectly.

Android 11 supposedly is running on the beta build in China, which makes it reasonably likely to get a roll-out to the stable builds too, in due time.

this phone is not waterproof, drop in the toilet bowl for 5 second half immense, whole lcd panel got water damage left side lcd 2 led burnt now whole screen darker, xiaomi singapore do not cover water damage checked online $88 to replace lcd when i brought from shopee only S$176 on 11.11. phone working normally for 2 weeks but lcd still got water stain in the middle :(

Note 8 pro is better than note 9 in terms of features and performance, whereas note 9 looks better.

I am surprisingly pleased with this device. The screen is responsive, fingerprint scanner is well placed for me. It is, as the author says, fast and accurate. It's been less than a month since I bought my Note 8 Pro, but I'm happy with it. Money well spent.
