I have a problem with my note 8 pro. The ambient light sensor keep stop working after 3-4 days of use and i have to restart the phone to work again. I bought my phone one year ago and the problem started two months ago. I have miui 11 with android 10. What is the poblem? How can i fix it? Can someone please help me, because is frustrating.

... moreIt saddens me that people got a defective product or have some bug/issue in it. They didnt have the chance to use the phone in its full extent.
Anyway, I got the early update of miui 12 before they remove it( somebody from the forum said they had it too but the next morning, they remove it). Everything's still smooth. The update looks like an apple to me hahaha! The only problem I encountered so far was that the battery is draining faster than before. Though its okay for me because i got to play already before the battery ran 20%.
I think theres something wrong with my grammar, im very sorry! I just want to share my experiences. 😉
Rn8p global version from Philippines.

I got Too much lag and Screen Freezing Phone lag or jam not Single button worked this process take 2-3 minute continue lag or freeze any solution 😞😞😡😡😡😡😡

It's already launched as a stable version in the global beta already so it shouldn't take a lot more till we all can get it. They have encountered some problems and now they started launching the "patch" for that gradually to all the beta testers. More problems may occur so a few months should be good.

Lhyn, 30 Jul 2020i dont know why my phone is not showing the notifications f... moreMy phone had the same problem, but it was fixed with the update. I got my phone in November and this problem got fixed a few months after.
Now the biggest problem is that I can barely see on the screen when the sun is shining. Probably the phone has a problem with the screen light adaptation.
And the main strength is it's battery.

Redmi Note 8 pro is one of the best phone I have owned, since buying it in last December 2019.
It works well and I have not recorded any issue except for the camera which I later understood it usage; knowing when to switch between the 4 rear camera for the required picture shot.
Battery is lovely even after doing the Android 10 upgrade it's being better than any other device I may have used Samsung A51, A6plus, Sony Xperia Z models etc.
RN8P is way way better considering its price too.

AESCHYLUS, 28 Jul 2020is this phone still worth in 2021?If you can get it in a great deal it's well worth it, it's fast enough not to be obsolete in the next couple of years, time at which it will finally make sense to get a 5g phone.
Said that as with most xiaomi phones you will have to deal with some nags and bugs, nothing serious but still you will have to take some time to work on them.
