You have every right to get it fixed from service center, if the defect is not from external source. Some sellers give replacement warranty for specific time limit, you can get it replaced.

JFC, 23 Jul 2020Will it still be a good choice in 2021redmi note series is one of the best mid range series, but in note 8 and note 9 every variant they are almost same, with a lil improvement, note 8 pro is a must recommended smartphone of redmi in this range

So guys I'm getting this phone the day after tomorrow and I'm pretty excited. But there's a thing that makes me anxious.
I'm a gamer and I know it's a very great gaming chipset, but I don't know about the long term usage, especially about gaming. I heard that G90T is great but in short term for like at least one year, but after a year it becomes trash. Anybody here using this phone for more than 7 or 8 months and faced these issues??
The other thing that I heard is that this chipset is again good for Fortnite, but after 2 to 4 months of playing Fortnite,the phone became a dump. True or false?

... moreDon't buy if want to use it for Pokemon Go. GPS signal is so weak that I got red gps error & can't detect my location (on high accuracy) when I'm playing it in my house.
Even when I open google map, the location got drifted quite some distance away from real location. I have to move near the window to get my location detected & corrected.
Accidentally updated the system twice. Now on MIUI 11.0.4

xSavagex, 22 Jul 2020So, after android 10 update the phone will lags so much?No, after a factory reset mine got back to normal. But there is still stutters when I open recent apps or close them. Thats why I'm thinking MIUI 12 Stable is more compatible with Android 10.

xSavagex, 22 Jul 2020So, after android 10 update the phone will lags so much?Dont know about this lag? I just bought this phone last 2 months ago and i updated it to android 10 right away. Until now, no problem at all. Data check, storage check, games check(no lag at all), social media apps check, even the battery is great. I tried using it for games constantly and it took me 6-7 hours before going to 10%, which is btw very great for me. And for average use, it took me 1 day to drain the battery. So honestly, i never encountered any of those problems.
