How good is this phone in gaming? What about overall usage? I heard some rumors saying that temperature will rise until battery melting on this phone. I should buy it or avoid it?

Been using it since 14 June (Note 9 series release date iny country)
- Camera = since i moving from a 4 yrs old Redmi Note 3 Pro. .it's been a huge upgrade (can't say further more since i change phone at least every 2 yrs and don't think much about camera as long as it's usable)
- Performance = again, since i upgrading from Kenzo. .surpricingly a Huge different with this Helio G90T (playing Honkai Impact 3rd. .after post honkai far smoother)
- Battery = in the first and 2nd day using it i hv gaming a lot. .by far a great battery life easily reach 6hrs Screen on Time everytime (full game)
- Overall = since i was the person who prefer LG V30 design can't say i satisfied with today smartphone (notch, punch hole, etc). .this phone quiet heavy (from 170g to 200g), good screen great touch response, decent speaker "less loud then other competitor" but has good bass on it. .

MasEnha, 16 Jun 2020I found no issue in my own. Camera and Asphalt normal since... moreI don't get why people are making up all sorts of stories against this phone. I mean, if Viber causes excess heating then it's definitely a problem with Viber software. I have this phone and actually use it daily. I play call of duty almost everyday. I make whatsapp calls and so on and the heating is normal as with other phones. Plus this phone has a cooling copper stuff inside that helps to keep the processor temperature in check. Anyone interested in buying this phone should absolutely ignore the laughable propaganda and ignorance going on in this place.

xSavagex, 16 Jun 2020I want to buy this phone but I'm afraid it heats too much o... moreYou don't need to be concerned, it heats to the point it can make your hand sweat a bit which can be annoying but nothing more. You need to have your phone fully updated though.
Said that I would wait for a more modern device that runs cooler and get better performance, redmi 10x is an example but since it comes with an amoled display it's somewhat more expensive.

Scythor, 16 Jun 2020If the phone will reach more than 45 degrees on CPU and bat... moreUsually it gets up to 43 C, even 45 C would not be enough to damage electronics but fast draining and heat of the battery can reduce it's life expectancy over time.
If you are not in a rush to get a new phone I would wait for a newer phone, less heating and more performance, like the 7 nm dimensity 820, you just need to wait for cheaper devices coming with it.
