Scythor, 15 Jun 2020Where did you bought the phone?Global version. Alza, it is a retail store from Czech Republic.
But it is not the store fault.
Probably I was just unlucky with this particular device. A lot of people in Czech Republic are praising this model. Also, the one before, Redmi Note 7.
But, I admit, I am picky with my phones. That is why I change them all the time.
In this case though, the problems are the ones that I described in earlier posts. And the bad part is that are not warranty problems. I can't go to the store and tell them I have wifi or bluetooth connection problems. Or problems with the auto brightness. Because they aren't each day, they occur from time to time. But they are annoying when they happen.
Probably I will end up selling it to some second hand shop. I don't know. But, I am also thinking of the poor person who will buy it afterwards, they will face the same issues.

Bogdan, 15 Jun 2020Another issue with this model I had experienced last days. ... moreI know someone with a Mi A3, it has been nothing but trouble for him, bugs and more bugs, bad software, bad updates, network problems, slow wifi. auto brightness issues as well.
When you are living the bad life with these phones you know your sin: you got it for cheap.

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2020Dont fast charge your phone if you want the battery to stay... moreWise advise, fast charging is a battery killer overtime, best thing you can do is slow charge at night. Companies love fast charging and whatever that makes you update your phone ASAP.
Companies also love updates, the other sure way to break a perfectly working phone.

raaj, 13 Jun 2020yes same issue i am facing with wifi and bluetoothAnother issue with this model I had experienced last days.
When I was outside and wanted to look at the time, my phone got automatically in lowest brightness possible. But it wasn't completely black, some things I could barely see on my display, I suspected some sort of problem with the sensor. I needed to turn off the phone and turn it back on. The problem disappeared for the moment.
I am beginning to think I didn't make a right choice with this model.
I had previously for almost 1 year a Samsung A20e, perfect phone without any issues. But not very good for games. This Redmi Note 8 Pro is good for games, but bad for everything else it seems.
#sad.

Facing strange issues with this phone. Sometimes when i get a call and i try to receive call, It freezes and goes to white screen. I press lock button and unlock it again, the call is still ringing but not able to attend it.
Proximity sensor is not working at all, although it was good some 10 days ago.
Most annoying is the aux cable does not work. I have to try again and again and it starts working then.

MarcoPolo, 10 Jun 2020Just like you do with the others.Dont fast charge your phone if you want the battery to stay healthy for a long time , use the 10W chargers.
Dont drain the battery to less than 50 %, battery manufacturers rate battery health in lifecycles . Each lifecycle is drain to full charge so if a battery last 500 cycles then it means 500 charge from dead to full. But you can get 700 cycle from the same battery if you dont drain to zero since you used less on each cycles .
But use your phone normal ,since you are probably going to change in atleast 3 yrs so dont stress 🤗

The phone will overheat even i'm playing games that not require internet connection? (I'm not a big gamer). Is true that the performance will decrease over time using this phone for a year, for example?

I've played Mobile Legends: Bang Bang for like 38-40 minutes and my battery drained 12-13%. I've had 60% brightness and well 60-75% volume. The CPU got to 43-45 degrees and the battery to 41 degrees.

MAJOR ISSUE!!
Am using redmi note pro from 8 months.i don't know what happened yesterday .i unlocked my device one clock update appeared in notification section i tapped on update now and my device went to restore mode by itself. There was almost 120 gb data in my device that all gone and most of it was very very important and hard earned data . Feeling totally empty and helpless from that time.
