Battery performance is not that impressive.
Pubg and asphalt 9 lags.
Back camera is good
Front is satisfactory but good enough if you can edit a bit.
Overall good cell phone in this range but I personally would recommend redmi note 9 pro or 9s or vivo s1 pro.

Based on my observation, it only consumes 1-2% of battery power for about 8 hours (90% before i sleep and 88% after i wake up). The charging cable that's in the box isn't a quick charge cable, i recommend that you purchase a separate quick charge cable. If you use the standard cable that came with the box, the device will take about 3 hours to be fully charged from 25 % - 100 %, which is super slow. However, when i changed the cable to a fast charge one, i noticed the charging speed difference. Now, it only takes almost 2 hours to be fully charged from 25% - 100 %.
There will also be an indication that the device is in fast charging mode showing 2 lightning icons at the status bar. However, be reminded that your phone's temperature will increase during charging (if you use a fast charge cable), maybe because of the electricity current. The temperature could reach at a maximum of 40°C. Might as well place the device in front of a fan to cool it down during charging.
Since i started using a fast charging cable, overall I'm satisfied with its charging speed. It's already fast considering RN9 has a massive 5020 mah battery. I'd say it's a solid device and bang for the buck.

For 130 euros that not a that bad thing (there is a TPU case in the box, anyway), Samsung wants for Galaxy A41, 51 way more for similar back panel (also made od plastic).
But, for buyers, Redmi 9, Note 9 have plastic back, Note 9s, Note 9 Pro, glass.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, charger 22.5w in the box..
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s, charger 22.5w in the box
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, charger 33.5w in the box..
And about slow charging in Note 9 (with 22.5w charger), that's because od MediaTek SoC (G85)..
Note 9s with same charger, same battery takes half hour less to charge, just because it have Qualcomm (720g)..
So, if someone wants Xiaomi from Resmi Note 9 series, 9s or Pro is really better choices (9s is like 30$ only more), and not just because of battery charging speed, Note 9s also have brighter screen, glass back, better camera algorithms, Google camera support, that faster charging, more custom rom-s.

Helio G85 is a new chipset, so games/apps aren't optimised for it yet. You'll have to wait... as well as pray that it doesn't take as long as SD665.
Snapdragon 665 had same issue, and apps/games still aren't optimised enough to show its full power. That's why I still recommend Snapdragon 660 phones over 665.

Doesn't matter if it's Mediatek or Snapdragon.

AhmedSLL, 24 Jun 2020Able yes, but I wouldn't recommend it, especially for long ... moreIt seems I missed somethings about the phone, there are some software related issues concerning the performance, those problems are more noticeable on the 3Gb ram version, I'm not going to throw the whole blame on xiaomi, the g85 is relatively a new processor so more time is needed for more optimisation, but we all know the Miui "evolution" in the last couple of years.
And this is up for discussion but is it just me or xiaomi phones always seems to have a problem or two with mediatek chip sets that other companies don't have, I mean before realme was a thing oppo was doing fine with mediatek compared to xiaomi, and I remember the redmi 6 and the infamous helio p22, yes it is what it is but still, it was a disaster especially at launch.
