Great phone! I bought mine for around $200 almost 2 years ago (128 GB).
Good camera, good mid range performance, good battery life.
For the price I can't compalain! It gets to the touch sometimes but it's not too bad!

Pretty good phone in my opinion,
I bought it in April 2022, used condition for USD 123.34,
Enough for daily needs even though it has 4GB RAM, but can be added 1GB through the "RAM Extension" feature. (need MIUI 12.5E update)
Camera is sufficient, but could have better results with the help of "G-Cam" app,
Battery life is very satisfying, I get Screen On Time up to 9 hours 26 minutes
It's just that MIUI has a very annoying bug, for example, the ringtone that I set earlier (custom ringtone), suddenly resets back to default (idk why)
Overall I give a score of 8/10 for this phone.

A really bad phone . First of all it's really slow. I have very few apps and photos and it's so slow. Sometimes the screen freezes and it reboots just because of all the lagg . The camera is pretty bad too . Verh blury and the phone freezes when you take a photo sometimes . The only pros about this phone is the good battery quality . I don't recommend buying

Ive been using this phone from the start of 2020 till this day and been through any kinds of bug, but after all pain this phone get updated to MIUI 12.5.5 all been good then, but still have a lot of scratch because of my mistake.
Very good for gaming but still sometimes throttling

im using this phone 3 years now and its dead now this is not for gaming dont use this and its have a problem on video recording the sound is delay too many bug

I bought this phone for my daughter a year ago. I've tried everything to get wifi/data smart switch to work to no avail. She regularly comes home and forgets to turn off her data and on her wifi and uses all her allowance at once. Put them both on and it stays on data anyway, so there clearly is an issue there. Thinking of ditching it now.

Personally bought this phone on 2020 after long time search and considering. Im not heavy user, only social media and pubg. So far so good. App run smoothly, sometimes they lag 1-2 times, but it is undeestanable since its been 2 years. For me its pretty heavy and thick tho, but it is recomended for those who wants worth buying phone. Try get 6/128 GB for better use

My redmi note 9 automatically stops getting good signal, other devices get network but I don't have network signal in the same location and place other people get signal. What is the solution.?

GSMer, 18 Apr 2022Does anybody know when will this phone get MIUI 13?It will get MIUI 13 in August. It's getting MIUI 13.5 in the future as well. I have been using this phone for 2 years and definetely recommend it to everyone who considers buying entry level phone.

You can find many videos on how to do the procedure, you should read a little bit and you will be able to do it. It's something really valuable if you don't like MIUI.
