pj, 09 Oct 2022everything great except battery lifeWe release new updates to make our low ends run slow, so people need to buy new phones or high end phones, that's all about marketing, if you want switch to competition like samsung, at least you will get 5 years of updates and not only 2 years of updates like we do!

I bought this phone at June 7th, 2021, it's been a year now, it has battery issue, must always be charged, lag, but at least it got MIUI 13 update, this is the last time I'll use Xiaomi phone, especially the Redmi one. That's all from me, I hope it can help you think twice about buying this phone.

Finally MIUI 13 update arrived here in Finland! So much better performance in everyday use and less buggy 👍 I had heard that MIUI 13 was worse than MIUI 12 but i completely disagree 🤔

the latest update sucks this phone suddenly turned off and reboot when i open games 9r paky videos on fb wont buy this brand never again ! 😤😤😤

I have a question: Those of you who already got MIUI 13, did you get it OTA or did you download recovery ROM from official site? Looks like MIUI 13 is finally rolling out for EU variants but mine hasn't received it yet and i'm tired of waiting. My point was that will it eventually come OTA for every variant out there or is it possible that it may never and you just have to use either recovery ROM or Fastboot?

My xiaomi redmi note 9 need battery replacement technician said, because the unit off and on only. The charger need to be attach to use the phone. I'm disappointed because it's only 1 and half years only.

Worst phone I've ever owned, this thing lags terribly...and it's not like the specs are on the low end, if anything I will never buy another product from this brand.

The worst phone ever:
- proximity sensor
- lagging 4/128
- overheating
- apps keep crushing down from time to time (needs a reset occasionally)
- BT connection to a car is beyond slow and unresponsive (used another brand on the same car perfectly fine)
- interface designe is just childlish looking

My Note 9 does not support WiFi calling (in NZ). So not good for areas with poor cell coverage

To those maybe wondering why their Note 9 haven't got MIUI 13 yet is because it's only out for Global version as of now but other regions (like EU) should get it before the end of this year. I was getting worried that they have screwed users from other regions but it's allright now!

I never get notifications when I'm trying to log in into my accounts on other devices, which makes using two factor authentication impossible. Removing battery saving restrictions for industrial apps (cos there's no option for all at once) didn't help. Another thing is colors in dark theme. Some colors for some apps are not right, and it's annoying to use, so I had to turn it off. I hope to be able to update the system soon, or I might use a hammer to fix my issues, and switch back to Samsung. System is MIUI 12.0.18.

After 1 and ½ months of usage, my front camera starts to misbehave, if I take a photo, the phone freezes and after some seconds it goes back to homescreen. I'm starting to get worried considering the price I got the phone with.

this phone 3/64GB is buggy, slow and sometimes freezes. maybe its the miui 13..
