1/1,43 inch is definitely bigger than 64mp sensor 1/1,7 inch it's just simple math.
Also 12mp with better sensor has more details therefore more editing headroom

Day to day usage is superior whole bring more power efficient. Obviously you have no idea how to compare cameras. The 48MP is superior being physically much larger than the 64MP in rn8p. The size of this 48MP is almost as large as the 108MP found on the Mi 10.
