Matsu, 11 Mar 2020I think Realme 6 will beat him, not having amoled was a mistake.I completely agree, as a Xiaomi fan I am really really disappointed with the specifications... Note 8 Pro (My phone) is so much better. I guess the only thing that I really do like about Redmi Note 9 Pro is the design.

This is a disappointment compared to Realme 6 Pro (or even Realme 6)... Xiaomi cannot keep up with Realme's pace it seems...

Props for bringing back sd. And for the camera situation. I feel like a depth sensor would be much appreciated than a telephoto. Never had much use of telephoto anyway. Props to the battery. Wish it had better fast charging though.

Redmi Note 9 series will have more than two members. The real STAR of this Redmi Note 9 series is a Dimensity 800 based unit which will not be released until 2Q. (Just forget about the G70 and SD720G based units. All non-D800 based units in this series are just there to play out their intended bridesmaid role. )
The likely members of Redmi Note 9 series:
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G (Dimensity 800): The real bride;
Redmi Note 9 (G70): the bridesmaid 1;
Redmi Note 9 Pro (SD720G): the bridesmaid 2.

The prelim specs says 48MP 1/1.43" 1.12µm, this sounds a lot like the new sony IMX689. Which is a larger sensor with 40% bigger pixels than the 64MP ISOCELL sensor on RN8P.
Can't say anything about the CPU's, though I think the performance of the G90T and 720G should be pretty close. But the camera should be a pretty big upgrade from the RN8P

These specifications for Redmi Note 9, not for Note 9 pro. It's my individual thinking. I think, pro model might be better specifications.

Neel, 11 Mar 2020I hope Note 8 Pro is Better than New Note 9 ProDo I have to remind you that this is only the rumor and specs from allegedly leaking informations? Even so, my opinion is that who has RN8 Pro doesn't have to uprade to this phone. And next year, I am sure there will be 5G Redmi devices. But who doesn have RN8 Pro,, they should buy newest version ofcourse.

And no, there's no under display fingerprint on LCD just yet, and the image on the phone specs is just a "concept" as they will have normal fingerprint scanner on the back.
