Eventhough RN9S was one of the best options available in the time when it purchased, it is becoming a crap during the last couple of months due to The battery issue. As a careful user, I maintained usage disciplines well. So, when noticing the recent battery issue, I checked whether is this a random issue or a frequent one. Even in this comment section, I can find dozens of same kind of complaints on this. If it is a build issue, it cannot be taken this much of time to arose. So, this could be an issue comes with system software updates. I believe this is a cheap trick done by the MI company to push their customers forward their new products (like apple did previously). This is my third MI product and now I'm losing my trust on MI products with this untrustworthy action. Very disappointed.

    I have faced the same battery issue recently. I believe this is not a product fault but planted one with system software updates. This phone having rebooting issue during long calls and ghost touch issue as well. I can see most of users have faced these issues as well and these could be treated as product faults as those were there since the very beginning.

          why Redmi note 9s still got problem even i already charge fully 100 % after that plug out and minute a go i wait long day i i plug in is drop percentage by it self supose is when i use it only drop but i never touch my phone long day is drop percentage battery by it self

            Hi I would like to share my bad experience on my REDMI NOTE 9S I experience bug on the battery I don't know if it's the update of MUI 14 or it's the battery itself I can't used it without plugging in to the charger and it just started happens last October 9, 2023, 3 days ago I experience some bugs like it's automatically powered off and keep powering off till I can't used my device properly and now I can't used it normally like I usually did without plugging in the charger. Please someone enlightened me it's the upgrade or I just need to replace the battery?

                It is very interesting that this phone can record 4k 30fbs & 1080 120fbs , while after 3 years Note 12S can only record 1080p 30fbs ...

It went into 50% battery health so I decided to. I have a few tools of my own so I did it myself and trust me, the difference is huge. I used to carry a powerbank everywhere I go, now I don't have to.

                  I also replaced its ROM because it became sluggish at times. I used Lineage OS and it also made a huge difference. It can now run games at higher resolution and it used to stutter even at low graphics.

                        Hello, it's been 3+ years since I got my phone and unfortunately the battery doesn't last as long as it used to. Is it advisable to replace my battery and keep using my phone?

                        I see no reason why I want to change my phone except for battery issues. And I want to know if anyone has done a battery replacement and if it worked for them. I would prefer that than spending extra bucks to get a new device.

                            Mine is 3 yers old now. Battery still lasts for 2 days (usualy i charge it overnight) everything still works fine i only had one bug during the years of usage so far and that was it would randomly restart during phone calls but i guess that was fixed with a softer update. Good camera and build quality. I only have 2 problems notification led does not work (newer saw it anyway since it ws so tiny) and its still a little to big and heavy for my small hands. Wish it was plastic back even though glass looks nice. I would recommend it to enyone. Still looking to find a sutable replacement one day.
