[deleted post]You've been mislead by mediatek haters. Yes, Helio G90T is a 12nm chipset which is less battery efficient and heats more than chipsets like SD 720G.
But hardly any SD660, Kirin 710, Kirin 710F, Helio P60, Helio P70 phones have heating problem. They're also 12nm chipsets.
Helio G90T has more powerful GPU than SD 720G so Redmi Note 8 Pro should be better for PUBG. I suggest you join Redmi Note 8 Pro forum on Telegram, Facebook, XDA and ask there if it has a heating problem. Because only real and knowledgeable users will answer your question there.

guys i need some help for this phone or redmi note 8pro my usage 80% games and heavy app so what i can go for it buy i heard about drop frame and cpu throttling for note 8pro after 20 min from heavy use and alot of heat issues what the best of them

Me 2, 06 Jun 2020Guys which one will u recommend the 9s or the 8 pro for gaming?Depends on which type of gamer you are. Note 9s and Note 8 pro have powerful chipsets. Note 9s has the SD 720G chipset which is good for long time of gaming. The Note 8 pro has the Helio G90T which has better benchmark scores although it tends to get hotter as you play.
