I tested the camera this morning by taking several shots with the default auto mode on the RP and OP3 and compared them. The OP3 takes excellent pictures, but its videos aren't great. I was expecting something similar with the RP.
The photos taken with the RP were quite ordinary. I was hoping they'd be a significant improvement over the RN3P, given the RP has a Sony sensor. However, I don't believe they are. Photos have washed out colours. I took inside shots of my daughter in the same position with good lighting with both cameras. On the OP3, my daughter's skin colour looked natural and her red dress had excellent contrast. The photos had excellent brightness. On the RP, the colours were all washed out and pictures lacked brightness. All the pictures of her appeared dull. The difference between the two sets of photos was extreme.
The RP did a little better outside, but the OP3 won in every shot. The RP's photos lacked brightness and the colours were all washed out. They also didn't capture the same level of detail of the sky or leaves on the trees. However, very close up shots of leaves produced excellent shots which were comparable to the OP3.
Lastly, videos. The OP3 doesn't take good videos. There's a significant amount of noise in recordings, although the colours remain excellent as they do in photos. With the RP, the brightness was decent, but recordings again had washed out colours. There was a similar amount of noise as the OP3, perhaps a fraction less.
Overall, the RP's camera is surprisingly disappointing. I was expecting it to take decent shots, even if they weren't as good as the OP3, but they really are ordinary with auto mode. If you purchase the phone thinking that the camera is better than the RN3P, you'll be very disappointed. If you want a mid-range phone with a decent camera, I strongly suggest you consider the Asus ZenFone 3 instead, since its camera has the same sensor as the OP3 and Mi5, and it has received excellent reviews (eg. Android Police).
Lastly, a quick note about the display. The AMOLED panel has whites which appear somewhat dirty, even when switched to cool mode. Colours appear similar to the OP3 when the OP3 is switched to RGB mode, where colours are technically more accurate, but the whites appear dirty next to other phones. For me, I don't like it, but I believe it's a software thing and it's not a deal breaker by itself. I think the display is very decent overall, and most people will be happy with it.

I've ordered one mainly for the OLED. Will have to wait and see if 2nd camera is worth the lack of OIS.. Wish they used it for b&w like the Huawei P9 and not just for bokeh.

This phone should not be costly,. using a helio chipset is cheaper than snapdragon. Camera pixels have been reduced. And adding an extra 5 mp camera didn't show up much . And this time it got a finger print sensor on the front which means there will be no separate navigation button, everything will be on the fingerprint sensor just like iPhone . I expect this to a budget phone .

[deleted post]ya but adreno 430 is also stronger than mali t880 mp4 dont forget that ok.and even though adreno 510 may not be stronger than t880 mp4 but still its enough for gaming so its ok to have adreno 510 gpu
