Every mediatek variant is not allowed in India and as such a global rom would not be released. So it is better to wait for the indian variant.

AnonD-201598, 29 Jul 2016That's a 28nm 2 year old SOC my friend, why would I want to... moreMy friend, if you read all the previous comments about the comparison MTK X25 vs. SD820 you will find that some people are mentioning the AnTuTu scores and say X25 was better.
I do not mind to have a MTK SoC (which is anyway cheaper than SD) in my phone as long as it provides a real world-wide connectivity like the latest SDs.
Unfortunately, MTK is still failing in doing that.
Let's wait for X30.

I think high end excluded Qualcomm is not that better, either. But having a device with Snapdragon 801 released with Android 4.4, that now receives an update to Android 6.0 is quite impressive indeed.

I wanna how to compare these processor to snapdra... morewell look at benchmarks,but not only antutu,first it gives you score of all system,look at scores for cpu,gpu,and look at other benchmarks
this mtk has 10 core,but that dosent mean if faster then snapdragon 820,820 has much les core,and they at lower clock,but these core are just way better then cpu core that arm is making now,but on chipset is not only thing cores.. then qualcom shipsets have better wifi,better modems,in fact they better i every way probably
i think i fact snapdragon and exynos chipset are the best,mtk is good in my opinion but not good as qualcomm and sammy chipsets
performance of device dependo on milion factors,ad basicly 3 brand can use snapdragon,and that phones can be the fastes,and another 3 can use mtk, but that dosent mean mtk is bad,the 3 brands are mybe just bed brends,bed phones,with bed software and so on- thats just example

Xiaomi, first of all yr Malaysia site note 3 with 3gb ram had been out of stock since yr launch in April n mi max hasn't been launched yet. Now coming up with redmi pro. Xiaomi, r u simply 'blowing wind' as quote said. Xiaomi please sort out yr site n inventory. Don't simply launch that u can't handle.

prem, 27 Jul 2016i bet you mtk x20,x25 are the better then qualcomm's 620,... moreI think I agree with you... Helio x20 n x25 are just upper midrange, but they are nowhere the sd820 and exynos 8890 level.... This year they are the beast of upper midrange socs
