The device is almost perfect
I think it's just a little heavy, but the battery is endless (updated with miui 9 android 7.0)
My daughter uses a redmi4x, perfect too, the hardware features seem very similar to note 5a prime apart from the display and battery
On the other hand there are some improvements on the selfie camera and and the feature "2 sim + sd" the gorilla glass
The performance of the redmi4x is very good, see you ...

If you want performance get a redmi note4, if you want save budget get a redmi note 5a, if you have more budget and want great performance, get redmi 5 prime

In malaysia, redmi note 5a does not have fingerprint, its on redmi note 5a prime. Overall experience is good. Big screen, lightweight, smooth except the charging time took 3 hours and the wifi frequently disconnected on its own. I dont know if it my unit problem or software problem. Can anyone tell me your wifi connectivity?

There is no "Prime", it is just to indicate that the model is the higher version which has 3/4gb of ram. It's easier to understand this way:
In india, there is redmi Y1 and Y1 lite. The high specs version has sd 435, 3/4 gigs of ram and a fingerprint sensor. The lite version has snapdragon 425, 2gb of ram and no fp sensor.
In china, they only name it "5A" and no specific naming between the lower (sd 425) and higher (sd 435) specs.
