If you are comfortable with the idea of using Link2SD application to shifft all unmovable apps to SD card then keep Jelly beans as KitKat still is not very stable in Xolo Q3000. Lots of users are reporting lots of issues pertaining to Kitkat. better will be wait for another two to three months and then update to KitKat. :)

AnonD-142214, 28 Sep 2014If I don't want to root my mob , then ? Which is better ?Hello Bro. obviously Kitkat is better and it has resolved two problems which were there in Q3000 with jelly beans os.
1) the auto brightness mode on resulted in screen not liting up when phone taken away from ears. you have to always set auto brightness to off so that proximity sensors work fine. a lot of Q3000 including mine has this issue.
2) Internal app memory in jelly beans was just 0.98 GB in jelly beans which is now 4GB in Kitkat.
then performance got smoothened up and battery backup improves. but Kitkat still has lots of glitches that is why i am still comfortable using Jelly beans on my Xolo Q3000.

Its battery backup, screen clarity and other things are good but camera is Ok kind off. I would suggest you better go for Panasonic P81, Asus Zenfone 6 or if you can increase your budget till 20500 then HTC Desire 816 has a marvelous camera. See if you can increase your budget till the price of HTC Desire 816 as it has really got a awesome camera otherwise Asus Zenfone 6 and Panasonic P81 can be good alternatives but then none of these phones has a full HD display. but camera wise all these are awesome :)

Don't update to kitkat. Because jellybean 4.2.1 can be easily rooted with only one click (without computer) by framaroot application (search on google and download it).
But rooting of kitkat is very difficult.
I lost my root access after updating to kitkat.

shubhchintak , 19 Sep 2014Dont by the q3000 it is worse phone it just commits but goo... moreReally xolo Q3000 to look wise and configuration is good. but, being working on its reality 10 step of backward. 2gb ram 1.5ghz quad core, it is enough for speed. but running slow you tube online video interrupted so much,not proper play. so, guys as per my experienced suggest to all, never buy such device.

DK, 19 Sep 2014Save d zinc file in ur sd card... Den got to settings n cli... moreI kept the "Update.zip" in the root of sd card and went through the update, the phone goes to recovery and says updating and gives an error after half installation. (Error - invalid update file)

Search in google typing Key word Link2SD app. you will be able to get the information as to how you can use your SD card to link softwares directly to your device sd card. including apps like whatsapp, wechat which App2SD can't move.

1) either take it to xolo service center and get the OS updated to KitKat.
2) You can use your SD card to link all your apps which are unmovable by rooting your phone by VRoot and installing Link2SD software. go through google and see how Link2SD software can be used to move those apps which App2SD can't move.
Regarding Rooting yes you will loose your phone's warranty if you choose rooting as it is basically getting superuser rights on your phone.
I am happy with Jellybeans and using Link2SD to link my softwares directly to the SD card partition that i made.

this is very expensive according thier specification. 1. phone book is not good as phone book is not optional only name show when we search any name.2 navigation is not correct show on 2g connection.3 when any body go to foreign with xolo than network not support. every time say roaming.ram is 2gb but processing is slow. i purchase this mobile from jalandhar ( mobile house jalandhar.as name baljinder singh ) and one sim cutting slot 2nd full sim slot. camera wise is better. wifi range is also nearest range. and punjabi font is not supportable. i think his actual prise is 8000 . and i am purchased it 19000.

Is there any way to increase my mobile Xolo Q 3000 's internal storage memory ? Its only 0.97 GB & its causing me problems. The App 2 SD app from play store does no help. Will rooting help? Will rooting destroy my mobs warranty? Is there any way to upgrade it to Kitkat without going to Service centre of Indore ,MP ? Plz help guys !
