Xolo q3000 or xolo 8x-1000 which is better pls tell me becase i planed to buy xolo on august 15 because i hope flipkart reduce price on aug15 so tell me any one big size smart phone any brand under 16k. Pls tell me bro.

Can anyone tell me how to root Xolo q3000 KitKat 4.4.2?
Jelly bean 4.2.1 can be easily rooted by frame root but frame root not work for KitKat.
Suggest me simple and effective method.

This phone does lag in the GPU department which is a major cause for its lags while playing very heavy graphic intensive games. i think the GPU is a major let down in Xolo Q3000. wish they used better GPU.

The Antutu score for my Xolo Q3000 is 15819 where as Lenovo S660 with much lower specs than Q3000 (1 GB RAM,1.3 Gz processor) scores somewhere around 16K. Any specific reasons for this?

xolo Q3000 looking is good camera day light pics is awesome but flash is very bad in night pics not good

Xolo Q3000 has a 5.7" crisp and clear IPS display. trust me you can watch crystal clear videos clearly from any angle you hold it.
Intex i5 HD has 5" HD display so clearity is not that good
3) Processor
Xolo Q3000 has a 1.5 ghz quad core turbo processor which is more powerful
Intex i5 HD has a 1.3 ghz quad core processor which is less powerful
4) Ram
Xolo Q3000 has 2GB ram which is ample for effective and smooth multitasking
Intex i5 HD has just 1GB Ram so it may lag
5) Internal memory
Xolo Q3000 is bundled without 16 GB of internal memory which is good
Intex i5 HD is bundled with just 4GB of internal memory so very less.
6) After sales service
Xolo Q3000 has came up with lots of customer service centers
Intex i5 HD still has very less market penetration with regards to service centers

Xolo Q3000 has a humongous 4000 MAH battery which easily lasts for a day under super heavy usage
Intex i5 HD has 2000 MAH battery which will need charging atleast every 8 to 10 hours of usage.

Xolo Q3000 is soon receiving Kitkat OS update and many new handsets of Q3000 are already coming with Kitkat loaded like if you buy from flipkart you get kitkat os Xolo Q3000
Intex i5 hd has jelly beans 4.2 os and doesn't look like they are planning to upgrade the os

If you want a 5" good screen and good battery backup phone go for Lenovo P780 as it has a battery which can last two days easily. its a decent performer. you can check its review on ndtv gadgets. but if you are looking for octacore phone with decent battery and performance then panasonic P81 is a good deal as it has a marvellous 5.5" hd display and 1.7 ghz mediatek true octacore processor and build wise also good. but if you really look for everything in one phone that is a brilliant full hd display, good ramm, decent processor, workable gpu, decent camera and humongous battery backup then look no forward to xolo Q3000. i am using it past two months and didn't had any major issues except lcd not lighting when removed away from ears but that has something to do with stock android jelly beans and will be eliminated in coming up kitkat os update. moreoever xolo has a good service center chain which makes it a major choice over other indan brands. i would list some decent phones below you can go through their specs and choose :-
1) Karbonn titanium octance plus
2) Panasonic P81
3) Xolo Q3000
4) Lenovo P780
5) Xolo 1010i
6) Asus zenfone 6
Check out the specs of all these phones and match them to your needs. whichever comes closer to fulfilling your needs you can buy. Hope it should help you :)

Xolo Q3000 doesn't have a gorilla glass. so if your screen is affected by scratch you have to either get it replaced but then it will cost you hell lot. my suggestion would be use it that way for some months and then sell it off and buy another one :)

Karbonn Titanium octane plus is definitely an awesome phone if we compare all three. it outbeats the other two in all aspects but it has got a puny battery so if you have a charger around you to charge every 5 to 6 hours then definitely go for karbonn titanium octance plus as it has a better screen clarity, camera, processor, looks. but then xolo q3000 has a marvelous battery and screen too. lacks a bit on graphic front but it was ok to me as my concern was to have a phone that lasts at least whole day without charging and xolo Q3000 outbeats every mobile in market in those terms. so prioritize your needs and take decision. and Intex i would suggest to keep at the lowest priority. i would suggest if you need good battery with a decent performance then Xolo Q3000 is no match. but if you are a gaming freak and don't mind an extendable battery charger then go for Karbonn titanium octane plus as its gaming benchmarks beats even branded phones till 28000 rs. decide whether you are happy with a 5" phone with a splendid display and processor and gpu or u want a phone with a spectacular 5.7" screen and decent processor and ram with a monster battery. Hope you would be able to decide easily now :)

Recently launched Xolo 8X-1000 is wonderful

I had a wierd screen problem today morning. The screen was full of white vertical lines and was flickering. I restarted the phone and although the phone is working, the screen is flickering. Not sure what the problem is. Any help appreciated...

I just got call from service center saying the same thing you told so they insisted me to wait for sometime till xolo provides official update for xolo q3000 on its website or get the os updated to kitkat at the service center. i have read few people complaining about facing various issues after updating the os at service centers so i will wait till we get an online update for operating system.

In my case it didn't even worked after doing that and yes if we turn off the auto brightness then we have to adjust the display brightness everytime. this cannot be deemed as a solution to problem. Better is we get the sensor get changed as our handsets are new and under company warranty so i would suggest to get the sensor checked by xolo service center.
