Warning: I purchased the Axon 10 pro, from Newegg because of the good specs, price point and the reviews have had nothing bad to say about the device. Well that was a mistake.
Newegg has a no return policy on this device, I will attempt to exchange the phone if they will let me. I first attempted to get assistance through ZTE but my issues fall under not their problem.. My issues are that third party apps don't work at all or freeze; if you can get past the start up. (All of Google's apps seem to work fine. Including the ones that need to be downloaded from the Play store.) Also use of Bluetooth headphones do not work properly when using third party apps.
I placed a 3 calls to ZTEUSA customer service over the course of 3 days to get assistance with my issues. The first rep could not hear me as I was using my Bluetooth earbuds JLabs Icons. Second rep attempted to help suggesting that I do a factory reset on the phone, which I did. The issue did not resolve itself, so I placed a second call and was informed in short that third party apps are the individual app company's problem to fix which I agree with; if it was one or two apps. When it's all the apps that's another story. Here is the run down of app that I have tried and have problems with:
Kronos: slow to load, always errors, location issues.
Pokemon Go: loads and runs, but froze after catching a Pokemon and had to shut the game down.
Gundam Battle: takes over a minute to bring the game to the intro screen, freezes.
Last Day on Earth: doesn't load
Real Racing 3: doesn't load
Credit Karma: works no issues
Homescapes: works
WhatsApp: works
TMobile Tuesday: works
Live or Die Zombie: works
Eternium: starts then freezes
Dead Effect 2: does not work
Prey Day: does not work
NOVA Legacy: froze loaning initial game info, never loaded
Monster Hunter: froze on initial startup, did not get past permissions. 2nd attempt game started.
Maze: does not work
As for the system itself I find it slow not as snappy as it should be. The speakers are nice but Essential's PH1 is louder for a mono speaker phone. The audio on 10 pro while watching a video from the earpiece speaker is no where near as powerful as what is coming from the bottom firing speaker. Normal mic audio is hit or miss.
Over the next few days I will run comparison with my LG G7 and my Essential PH1. With 12 Gig of ram this phone should run circles around the other two.
ZTEUSA not taking pot shots at you, but my Axon 7 mini had no issues, new out of the box, and I loved it.

After last update there is somekind of light bar on top of the screen when using black wallpaper.

There are a lot of devices that do not have a headphone jack.
Even though the display is 1080 you will not notice it cause the display is fantastic.

Does this phone have support for rSAP ?
Tried contacting asus 3x about it through their ticketing system and never received a response . Not even after weeks .

Awsome phone. No 3,5 jack, BUT usb-c "jack", but who cares. No wire plz.
