hi guys. im just gonna ask if there is someone here already updated to 7.57 and no issue encountered?. coz im gonna buy a 2nd hand phone. but its already 7.57. i ask the owner if there are some bug or issues on 7.57 update. the owner said it has no issue. is it posible? coz i read a lot on this site regarding the issues on 7.57. Or the issues is being solved after a reset or while using it in a long time?.

After the latest EU update-7.57 the L/R calibration doesn't work anymore in game space. I can't use 2 red magic controllers at the same time, which used to be brilliant with emulators.
I've contacted customer support and been told to wait for a new update-no ETA.
What is the best/easiest way to downgrade to 7.15?

With the lastest update (757), many things are frustrating. You can't choose default apps like desktop (launcher like nova or Linux CLI). You also can't remove apps from the homescreen now, can only uninstall. Even removed the calander app and it came back on restart. Then you also can't add apps to the home screen. Stupid update. 0/10

You must deaktivate or activate the Darkmode. Try this or go Back to 7.15.

use xiaomi mi flash tool......
download older ver of red magic...
put mobile to download mode ....
no need any root or any other mathod.
after flash it will be like new then update some updates but don't update last update

W... moreYes. I got the same after updating to Android 11. at first I thought that it was in the apps issue but after I uninstalled and installed again, it still laggy.
What I did is I reformat may phone and back to the latest update before the Android 11. Now it's ok on streaming

Hi everyone! So after the recent update to my Red Magic 5g(USA version), NX659J_UNCommon_V8.57 patch screwed up alot of this for me like Wi-Fi and some apps. I spend hours trying to fix this and tried customer support. I reset the phone a couple of times and the last time i reset the phone through recovery mode I found a "Clear partition cache" and this fixed all my problems! I backed up all my data to a PC prior because i had to reset everything but the phone is now working perfectly on the V8.57 patch. Hope this helps!

After a year or so I can summarize my experience with this phone in one sentence: A great hardware that was completely ruined by horrible software. many many essential bugs that every update added to them and the company completely ignores the issues and bug reports and doesn't care at all. Personally I would never buy another ZTE phone again.
