Hi everyone! So after the recent update to my Red Magic 5g(USA version), NX659J_UNCommon_V8.57 patch screwed up alot of this for me like Wi-Fi and some apps. I spend hours trying to fix this and tried customer support. I reset the phone a couple of times and the last time i reset the phone through recovery mode I found a "Clear partition cache" and this fixed all my problems! I backed up all my data to a PC prior because i had to reset everything but the phone is now working perfectly on the V8.57 patch. Hope this helps!

After a year or so I can summarize my experience with this phone in one sentence: A great hardware that was completely ruined by horrible software. many many essential bugs that every update added to them and the company completely ignores the issues and bug reports and doesn't care at all. Personally I would never buy another ZTE phone again.

The Android 11 Update for the Red Magic 5G is so worse...:-( Shame on you Nubia!!!Great Phone with worse Software without testing before OTA Update.

Thanks guys, I managed to unbrick the mobile and downgrade to 7.15, you helped me a lot 😊.
Just want to mention that Nubia customer support is the worst useless unprofessional customer support ever.

I never hated the phone more than after that update
One week and I will get a new one just because of this stupid update
