Ever since I did assn systems update two weird ago my phone had been acting up. It will not let me dial out sometimes and gives me codes 304 and 25. I don't know what they mean. People do not receive my messages and sometimes I have to send it four to five times. This is not good. What kind of systems update was that?

My gf and I both have this phone. I've read through these comments and see all of these problems ppl are stating to have, so far we haven't had a single issue. Then again I've rooted both of our phones in order to take advantage of this phones full potential. This phone by far has been the easiest phone to root too! There's no need to even use a PC to get the job done. Which I love, the majority of phones won't allow you to root w/o using a PC! Again it was amazingly simple to root. I temp rooted using kingroot.net then downloaded the twrp to flash supersu and bam you have a permanent rooted phone! Quick and simple! I've yet to have not one single issue and my phone is blazing fast. I've clocked both the CPU and GPU on the max settings! This is one of the greatest phones you can get. Especially with the deal metro has $99 plus real unlimited 4glte and 7gb hotspot teather you can't beat that. I recommend rooting this device, just do a simple Google search, there's even a great tutorial on YouTube showing you how. Once you root you can then flash any custom ROM you choose. I'm already running lollipop 5.1 and its amazing! Never had a phone that was so user friendly and could be rooted w/o using a PC! This phone is the best bang for your money by far! Once rooted its just as good as any top tier phone such as the Galaxy and Nexus and for a fraction of the price! Now of course the only downside I have is the pesky notifications to update the system software. I can't seem to get rid of that? I know better than to update and risk loosing my root or worse ruin NY phone! The system update itself is garbage you can do better things to your phone from using any custom ROM. And I doubt they'd be updating to lollipop os at all? If you've already updated check your build number if it b10 or higher you can no longer root ur device as of yet. You have to have a Zmax with a build number of B06 or under. Then you're in business! The things you can do to your rooted Zmax are endless! It's fairly simple if you can follow simple directions its easy to do and so worth it! I highly recommend it again make sure your build number is B06 and under. Pretty sure this new update prevents you from rooting this phone. Which is a shame. Don't know why these phone manufacturers don't want ppl to use these phones at their full potential? They govern the speed of the processors. So if you can try to root and unleash the beast!! I'm happy with this phone, have yet to have any issues. Plus since I'm rooted I have the stock os backed up in case anything goes haywire? But that won't happen. Enjoy and if you have no prior knowledge on rooting a device, nor did I. And I got the job done, because its that simple. Goodluck to anyone willing to attempt root again don't update make sure ur build number is b06 and you're in business. And don't worry bout bricking your phone. The process is fool proof and so worth it.

I did a system update because I kept getting the message to do so but every since I did I can't send voice messages on Facebook! Was fine until then... think I need to get rid of this phone I'm having too many problems

I bought my phone on the 7th July. the phone work perfect just that week and after that the charging block gave problems now I reached a point that I have to put it In different positions to charge. and when its fully charged the battery life last 30min max. I am disappointed with this phone. it must be switched off it charges or left on the charger to be start on its own

My phone did a system update on sept 1st and ever since than it goes in and out of service!! I can only use my phone when im at home with wifi and sometimes my appz still dont work
