However, things are much rosier if you focus on the Mobile phone division only. Samsung mobile phones sales rose "low 20%" on QoQ and "high 20%" YoY. The company become the world's leading smartphone manufacturer selling 27.8 million in the past three months, overtaking Apple, which only managed 17.1 million.

[deleted post]Nothing in this world is guaranteed my friend. The iPhone is certainly not perfect. Neither is any phone. The best phone is the one that serves you best.
The blind or disabled would probably find Siri to make the iPhone best for them, apart from iPhone's other great accessibility integration. Those who prefer more freedom to tweak and install stuff, would prefer Android over iOS. Those who simply are brand loyal, may choose to stick to Nokia, or Sony Ericsson, due to nostalgia. Some are even nationalistic, and may buy Samsung or LG out of national pride.
One thing is for sure tho, spending time online, on a phone page you don't like, listing out weaknesses, is lame. How difficult do you think it would be for me to list out weaknesses for SGS2 for example (fragmentation, too big etc etc), and then keep repeating them? Not difficult at all, but I would rather focus on the positive.

[deleted post]Android is already being killed from another side, WP7. Mango has been released and available for 100% of eligible WP7 phones, following the iOS model.
Microsoft had time to study both models, iOS and Android, and despite all the trolling, has followed a lot of Apple's philosophy in the OS game, with a more integrated approach, better OS updates, and certainly avoidance of fragmentation.
The open OS approach is wonderful on paper, but brings with it a host of problems, which Microsoft has seen being suffered by the Android manufacturers.
In the end, a product should be reliable, secure, and just work.

sunny, 27 Oct 2011you right android market really sucks + android phones too ... moreI strongly beg to disagree. Noawadays a lot of high performance and not laggy android smart phones are availabke. Check your words I just find them not based on fact and could be be misleading to others. Im a fan of iphone and android as well. Just a reminder.

Android dont suck at all dude no matter wot u say it does not suck, to b honest apple is gud but kinda sucks cuz u can only install apple products, too many restrictions and to me it sucks biiiiig time, Maemo & Meego rule the platform world. Nokia N900 is the best phone ive seen by far. You ppl would not believe wot it can do. It puts the iphone in its memory and still b lots of space left lol, iphone sucks aloooot

Wow a slower processor half the ram then the galaxy s2, evo 3d, droid bionic, atrix 4g, motorola photon, and the lost can go on so what did we wait for oh yea a stamp that says apple on it.....

I used nokia, Samsung Glx S2, Sony Eric, many sets. But did't use Apple brand, I fond of apple brand, Soomly i will h'v Apple4s. I like apple4 dimantion,

i really like my iphone 4s but when 3g is on, even when i dont use it battery life sucks:(
