Iphone 5c is the same Iphone 5 that wa... moreThe only reason they removed the aluminium back on this thing is 5S is really isn't that much better except for some more speed that doesn't matter that much to a huge amount of people since it doesn't have a bigger screen to make use of it, and the fingerprint scanner doesn't do much really except unlock the phone and possibly help with purchases because 99% of the time using the phone it won't do anything.
So they knew leaving the aluminium back on would mean there isn't that much point in buying the 5S and people would buy the cheaper 5C instead but won't because the plastic back makes people look cheap and can't afford it like people who buy the Porsche Boxter instead of the 911.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2013gsmarena plz give the review of iphone 5c plz there is no need to. Iphone 5c is the same Iphone 5 that was discontinued, robbed of its glass and aluminum parts, then slapped inside a plastic case, relabeled then sold to the market as Iphone 5c
BTW, those glass and aluminum case that was salvaged from Iphone 5 is now used in Iphone 5s

I don't think apple will sell many 5c since 5s is a better buy at $100 more. Too bad they blew the oppty to make a device close to $400 unlocked. An iPhone 4c could have gotten them to that price point. IOS 7 runs well on iPad 2 which uses same chip as iPhone 4s.

in my opinion .... apple should used the materials they used on ipod touch 5th gen. instead of that kind of plastic .... that wouldn't make iphone 5c look cheap ...

well,it will be available in India at around (549$) roughly 35000 added tax in stores makes it 40000..so its not a good choice anyway!

It also sometimes allows you to buy the phone at subsidized prices.
No contract means you buy the phone at full price, and top up with credit for your calls. Advantage is you are not tied to a carrier for any length of time.
