I have a nexus 5 and a blackberry z10 (but both the phones are having problems so i have sent it for repairs and i havent received any of the devices yet). Thats why i want to buy a new phone and sell my nexus and blackberry once i get them back....
And my options are htc one m8, note 4, galaxy alpha and iphone 5s. Hopefully i'll get a new phone by diwali :/

This p... moreFalling in love with simplicity is easy. But what about the freedom android provides? Apple gives the consumers exactly what they want.... not less, but not more either....
Heck you cant even install launchers if at all you get bored with the user interface.
You are stuck with the same boring stuff with almost no customization (except the freedom to change the wallpapers and arrange the apps).
If apple would've considered the pricing of this phone and kept it at a lower cost, then iphones would literally beat the crap out of all other phones....

WaBBy500, 27 Sep 2014I bought iphone 5s 6 months back to my acknowledgement appl... morebuddy ios 8 is not bad....itzz just that itz not stable yet....when i upgraded my iphone 5 to ios 7.i thought that it was d worst ios yet ever made and upgrading 2 it is going 2 b my worst decision ever made but after 7.1.1 upgrade itzz like smooth butter.....hav patience to taste d real nectar of ios8..;)

If youre thinking about buying this phone, DO IT!
This phone is absolutely amazing. Its size is absolutely perfect, easy to handle, type and use. The battery life will get you through the day no problem. The screen is SUPER BRIGHT. Seriously, even in direct sunlight, its easy to read.
iOS is butter smooth. Coming from Android, it was a shock to me. It absolutely flies and there is ZERO lag or waiting anywhere. Plus its very intuitive. Everything is where it should be and its very easy to get used to. Once you use this phone, you realize why iOS is so highly regarded.
I sold my galaxy S5 to move onto the 5S and im in love.

Apple please fix your ios 8.0.2 version!!!the camera focus on 7.1.2 is much faster thAn the latest its not zero shutter lag now. It loads for about 1 sec. !!fix it

I bought iphone 5s 6 months back to my acknowledgement apple's ios is considered to be the best os, it is simple and fluid but only in ios 7.Worst experience so far upgrading to ios 8, it lags,it heats like hell,call drops and call failed error,multitask total nuisance it shows whatsapp icon in the bottom but screen is blank at centre while doing multi tasking.i gave it to repair to authorized service centre they just re-installed ios 8 and returned it to me saying it wont hsppen ever again. But problems are still there is this the kind of service apple gives to its customers????? i moved from android cause of apple and ios stability, performance and service but according to me android is better than ios it offers much features than ios and the one who says that apple's ios is reliable according to me my experience there is no difference between touchwiz and ios they both lag.Sorry apple returning to android.

AnonD-209094, 26 Sep 2014I was reading around the web and Apple is still Apple, yes.... moreits just an album which you can delete if you do not want them; unlike android mobiles which comes with lots of bloat wares and unwanted application that you cannot get rid of unless you brick your phone.

I was reading around the web and Apple is still Apple, yes... This issue with the free U2 album, it really shouldnt have been pushed to users but only to those who chose to redeem it, plus it took so long for Apple to post a fix for it for those who wanted it gone. One guy even had it pop up and play automatically every time he connected bluetooth, of all the phones i had i seen many bugs and unwanted features but THIS is horrible, much worse than i ever experienced, is this what awaits me if i get 5s now and upgrades to iOS8? Unspeakable annoyances? Why do Apple do this? Herpies is also free but we dont want it, even though its probably better than U2.
Luckily im in no hurry and we have iPad Air so i can get a chance to see what is destroyed in iOS8 before i decide to get or not get 5s. The problem is still there though, you never know what is pushed onto your device in future updates.

Yes I Phone 5S is better than I Phone 6; no doubt - 5S is better on all the way.

5s is a good phone.. good battery life.. though I also have a sony z1.. yet I still prefer using my 5s..

Lol at even mentioning M2, a very poor lower midranger, of which there is nothing positive to say.
Z3 Compact is the closest competitor to 5s but it has some significant disadvantages and then especially the poor OS with lots of useless bloatware that Sony dont want you to disable, they are making it increasingly restricted to let you control Sony apps and services, definitely evolving in the wrong direction, a future software update is likely to render Xperia phones useless due to forced bloat, too annoying to use.
