I already mentioned i am an android fan and I haven't run benchmarks in my mobile (Moto G) ever. But point is - this is an article related to next big thing OR the best thing from Qualcomm yet. All I am saying is - Qualcomm is behind competition and they need to step up. That's all. If you don't like it, you can leave it.
I never thought there would be these many fanboys for Qualcomm in this forum. Android fans, IOS fans, Android fanboys, IOS fanboys - I have seen them all in this forum. Only today, I see that there are so many Qualcomm fanboys as well - who don't like to accept the fact that Qualcomm is behind competition.

NOBODY! You don't live with a benchmark test in your eyes everyday. Nobody cares as long as your phone does the job. Phones are laggless and getting more powerfull by the year. Android is getting more optimized and smooth by the day. We've reached a point were our phones run flawless. Stop hating and let it be a matter of preference.

of course A8x is the most powerful chip right now it has almost 2bn transistors , besides don't be fooled with apple's low clock speed their chips have higher IPC which makes a lot of difference (A7 had an IPC of 6 whereas sd800 had an IPC of 3). Not only this but if SD810 where to come close in terms of performance it will have to be supported by a 64bit OS because if the OS is not 64 bit it will run in the basic drivers that is CAL & will not be able to achieve it's full capacity.

Where talking about snapdragon and android here. I couldn't care less about the a8 or a8x. Basically the 810 is a monster and will probably beat the a8x ,- then not long after the 810 becomes mainstream other chipsets will become better again. Its a good job the device in question isn't mainstream anyway as with those kind of specs and only a 3000mh battery it won't stay switched on for long.

While Apples processors having been doing just fine with encryption over the years..

Too many apple reps on here, it's totally irrelevant whether the A8X beats the adreno 430 gpu, what matters is that the 430 has all the latest featues you need such as direct11.2, tesselation among others which will make graphics so life like so please all you apple and samsung supporters you can have your power but that's all you'll get. There's no doubt this is going to be the chip for 2015.

You don't need an extremely powerful chip because we are talking about mobile devices, so the amount of power obviously is restricted unless you want mobiles with batteries running out in 1 hour or even melting. Qualcomm also has the best features, what does the tegra k1 have or the Apple A8, nothing whatsoever, they're just decent for gaming, nothing much else. in other words these other chips are completely useless, you must be an apple or nvidia rep or you just don't know anything about the mobile industry.
