LG to sue Qualcomm over custom S810 for Samsung

27 January, 2015
LG and Qualcomm claim there is no overheating issue, but the need for a special version suggests otherwise.

Perhaps LG should get the same non-overheat version as Samsung is getting.
I like the rumored specs of the S6 and will look to get one. But I will wait with my purchase several months until sure there is no overheating issue. And I dont care if it is Exynos or Snapdragon - whatever is cheaper.

I too like Exynos. The only two Samsung smartphones I ever owned Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S5 has Exynos chips in them.

I see no need for LG to sue Qualcomm. It's simple, if Samsung doesn't want it based on their own lab testing then Qualcomm needs to find another solution as to get Samsung to purchase their chips. Galaxy S usually sells more than any other smartphone so if Samsung refuses to use Qualcomm chips then that's a big blow for Qualcomm. It's all business, nothing personal so LG need to chill.

Drop the crapdragon please. Exynos only would be much better.
Faster hardware as seen in Geekbench, faster software updates since there is only 1 hardware version, no overheating. What more could you want?
