Now everyone focus on smartphone, even Microsoft is the same. It's because they can sell their product directly to consumer and also can defeat piracy,so I wont think Microsoft will leave this market because it's a big fish that anyone want!!!!

Android 5 is bug ridden and FUgly. Android is inefficient and Google do exactly like Microsoft did with Windows. A small incremental but important update and sell it as the next big thing. With Google its the same, first project butter, next year project Volta and after that another project... but in the end it's still the same crap.
Improve Sailfish OS, improve Sailfish's Android compatibility layer and add the necessary features like call-recording etc... But I'd rather see Nokia adopting SailFish OS and improve that than becoming yet another faceless Android company. Not to mention this won't be a real Nokia anyway.
True Nokia's are developed in Finland and build in Nokia factories (preferably in Europe). The Chinese re-badged OEM devices are crap.

The more I read about new phones the more I wanna stick to my note 2, it's smooth with Google now launcher, no problems, I dropped it so many times, I seriously think this has been built for military purpose. I think that's one of the best phones and the best phone Samsung ever made lol. I'm not loyal to one interface. I get what I like and need, I prefer Android and windows over ios. Maybe I will get a windows phone in the future if the prices don't go bananas and...once I get enough of this Tank!

The outer material of the device probably only stands for a fraction of the price. And I suspect, the total bill of material does not differ many dollars, between the plastic used for lumias and aluminium or aluminium/glass combos.
MS, wont sell as many devices, and therefore will have higher production costs per unit.
However, if MS wants sucess. they would then have to cut their profit margins, or even sell at a loss, to make sure it's priced better than the competition, so people might consider their devices.

Just rumor but I hate price. it is so high. if higher than I phone 6 I think Microsoft are lying.. I don't want buy phone with cover plastic and any new design. Only camera 20Mp is not enough to customer buy it. Plz consider and give customer suit price..

This will be a great backup phone in about 18 months time: price would have fallen to something with a 3 in front of it, and that's when you spring for it.

The Surface is over priced... now the Microsoft phone! ( if the RUMORS!!! are true). I thing Windows Phone is the best phones OS... the hardware they are releasing is no different than the Sony xperia Z2 or Z3... so why is priced much higher... I did not buy an iPhone because it is over priced!!

i dont know what people really have against android though, i'm one of those people who just buys the phone for the budget im on at the time. only iphone ive had was an iphone 3 liked the interface, hated the walled garden approach couldn't even share a song. build was sound though, for the time camera was top notch. ive had windows but only in a tablet, have to say i prefer it more for pc's . but the super camera nokias seemed to be nice, with only minor drawbacks. but ive had my android going now for about 3 years and everyone says glitches and stuff like that. i havent seen them. maybe im lucky or not. but to be honest i will not replace this phone until it dies. has done everything i wanted it to. so sure its 3 generations behind, isnt exactly a bragging right but has been going 3 years straight. no random crashes . no hiccups. galaxy note 2.
