        Dear MediaTek,

With too much power, comes too much heat inevitably. Qualcomm denied the rumours too at first.

        Sincerely,
        Skeptic.

What say you, one knows just a simple man, who does not know or is not specialized in electronics. OVERHEATING of any electronic product is the date of poor conception and execution of the chipset, respectively. Of course, if you go procesurului at maximum frequency, it heats up the physical and chemical reasons. But it's not related to OVERHEATING due to other causes.

Mediatek teased ARM with this term, meant "your eight cores isn't eight, ARM! It's 4 + 4 ! ".
Ironically suggesting that, big.LITTLE didn't had HMP (at that time).

Still, I understand your point and agree, the "True Octa-Core" setup in Helio X20 isn't what we used to.

So it is still similar to throttling then? Since it can't activate the powerful cores for the entirity of the task.

GSMArena, you should correct this article; Mediatek is Taiwanese, not Chinese (just like HTC).
