Flash 10.1 is just a feature, if you don't want it don't use it. Too bad I only experience Flash Lite. Hahaha.
I'll just wait for the new Android to come out thats ready for Flash 10.1

Hey guys, it's not available yet. It says on Adobe's site:

"...Flash Player 10.1 will be available as a final production release for smart phones and tablets once users are able to upgrade to Android 2.2 “Froyo.” Devices supporting “Froyo” and Flash Player 10.1 are expected to include the Dell Streak, Google Nexus One, HTC Evo, HTC Desire, HTC Incredible, DROID by Motorola, Motorola Milestone, Samsung Galaxy S and others."

Once an official release for Froyo comes out for some phones THEN they will release it (even though a lot of Droid and Nexus One users have Froyo, its all unofficial so according to Adobe there's no reason to release it if there technically aren't any phones that can use it yet, right?).

If you have an Android phone and want Android 2.2 unofficially, you can get it at our site, TheUnlockr.com.

This is really impressive... all my respect for Android and Adobe.
Android users should be very excited about this.

you people have to understand that not flash makes the iPhone... the iphone experience makes the iPhone..and this is the truth:you love iphone or you hate it, there is no middle way.

Once you switch to iPhone you can't use any other phone(this is my personal exerience).

          Proud iPhone user

Seriously. If you think flash is laggy, don't bother installing it. At least, android gives you a choice to install flash. A choice of having flash or nothing at all.
So unlike the iphone, that doesn't even give you the choice.
Really. Bad flash support is not a reason to switch to the iphone. If you hate flash, don't install it.
Flash ads? Turn flash off if you don't need it. Isn't that common sense?

Well now you have the choice. Nothing says you have to install Flash. Only that you can now choose to or not to do so.

And Flash has its uses. I've been watching live World Cup matches by streaming off a website on my phone. Let's see the iPhone do that!

Flash is a resource hog. I can't see it running well at all on any platform with less than FroYo. It needs Froyo's speed improvements to free up resources to let it run.

Flash 10.1 is better than the Beta. But you should still set it to "on demand" to avoid the sluggishness.

Doesn't run well unless you set it to "on demand".

If you leave Flash running all the time, it really slows down the browser and the system. I noticed this on my Nexus One running Froyo with the FRF72 build.

Set it to "on demand" and then it essentially becomes click2Flash.

Flash on a phone is so not really necessary in my opinion. Like seriously, it's not really for phones. Plus, all these flash are mostly just stupid ads on the web.
