X2 cortex A72 at 2.1 GHz..... allright, that point I got stuck, what's the point of clocking the power cores just 100 MHz above the middle cluster? o_O

AnonD-423403, 26 Aug 2016no matter how much cores mediatek have, still can't beat sd... moreMore core doesn't mean better performance on smartphones. No app at the time of writing is not coded to take advantage of such cores. Even the sd820 runs on quad core and handles everything without a sweat

no matter how much cores mediatek have, still can't beat sd. for example; reno 3 sd (6 cores) vs reno 3 mediatek (8 cores) and the result is the sd version (6 cores) won. strange no? when i first known android tech stuff i always think, more cores more powerfull..... but after seeing example lke this.... i must think twice before speaking.
