LG G6 will launch at close to $800 in S. Korea, so much for 'value proposition'

1. In real life, the difference between SD821 and SD835 will be very thin. I have a G5(SD820) and still have my G4(SD808). And there's no much difference in performance.
2.Performance is not all about processor. LG has actually been having better RAM management than Samsung and if the same applies to the G6, that S821 will do a pretty good job against the SD835.
3.LG knows it's offering an older SoC and price will therefore be less by about $200 from the S8.
4.All other phones wanting the SD835 will launch late June. And they will face even tougher competition from the iPhone 8 and the LG V30 that will follow soon after. The only way LG was going to launch this phone with SD835 is if it waited till June but then would also have to push release of V30 to November-December which makes no sense.
All in all, I am anxious to see the device and how it holds up against Samsung S8 and S8+. I do not need to look at HTC or Xperia(Good specs on paper but never in real life oh and those bezels for Christ's sake)

Well, at least HTC has sapphire glass and sense UI as well as great build quality. Now people cant crucify HTC for the pricing. Or they could crucify them both. Lol

But in real life, it doesn't even measure up to top 5 phones each year when comparing the flagships. And they stuck with same design since time immemorial. You see someone holding an Xperia and you cannot even tell whether its Z or Z1 or etc

Well if they priced it lower they would have a much bigger lead before Samsung brings out the S8 and S8+. Too bad they are going with this price. It's as if they are punishing early supporters instead of rewarding them coz it is obvious that the price will go down when the S8 and S8+ comes just to stay competitive...

Well I am surprised of the comments to not mention that Korean G6 includes the Quad Dac, Hence, the price is naturally higher.
Rest of the world should get around 500-700 range due to DAC's exclusion.

Well LG didnt ask for customer feedback on pricing after all. So much on making a video showing how they listened to their feedback for gimmick features.
