Hope they don't lock this on AT&T again.
On a related note... Samsung should have a plastic back phone option for all their glass models. Why do I want a glass back if I'll always need a case to protect it from shattering?

Instead of buying this. why not buy a regular S8 or S8+ with a rugged phone cover with built-in extra battery.

The active being an att exclusive is madenning. And they don't support the vr either.
And the bloatware. Or like the t-mobile note 2. It's upsetting enough that samsung left that beast on kit Kat
..but t-mobile decided to leave it on jelly bean.
And they had to have a power connector turned a different direction with a long flex for no other reason then you couldn't swap out the board and display like you so easily could with the other models.
And tethering!!! Before everyone started offering decent data prices and amounts again when it was like $50 for 2gb you had to pay a tethering fee.???????
It was so bad that even now phone that had these restrictions built it you can't even turn on the phones Hotspot for transferring purposes and other non data related uses.
It's like not being able to use Bluetooth.
Even now they are still like you can only do this with your tether and it's limited to certain speeds and amounts...

The s7 active also finally offered a more shatter resistant display too.
Let's hope that improves and continues.
