Samsung Galaxy S8 Active leaked by Netflix

Netflix confirms the yet unannounced rugged device can stream HD content.

The only thing I hate about the Samsung Active series is the AT&T exclusivity. (Yeah, the design is not a problem for me :P)

Just release it worldwide and see how many people will flock towards it.

      I this do not have the ugly, reflections/glare..., curved display then it is far better than the original S8!

        PLAYER SLAYER, 05 May 2017...then buy a battery case!The active version of S7 was better because of it's bigger battery and rugged body.
        Battery cases aren't that grate because they are slow to charge,make the phone a lot bulkier and most of them are ugly.
        Anyway if the S8 Active has a bigger battery,flat screen and physical home button then this would be my ideal phone.Unfortunately it's exclusive to USA and carrier locked so I will stick with my S7 (not edge) for the meantime.

          I own a S5 Active since it's release and this is the best phone of them all for me. I was waiting for the S6 & S7 but they weren't as complete as my S5. I mean, I've got 2 2850 mAh batteries for as cheap as 10$, a 256gb card almost full of music and stuff in it, I use it's infrared port a lot and it's been dropped countless times on different floors or I use it on my bike on rainy days too and after almost three years of full use, it's like brand new. S6 had no sd card and the S7 didn't appeal too much either. I really hope this S8 Active will have an impact; I am looking forward to buy a new phone before mine gives up and so far, nothing meets my tastes like this old complete S5 Active. I'd wish a S5 with today's specs ... Oh what a fool I am.

            Let me guess, the home button is on the side of the phone, doubled as Bixby button.

              Make s8+ active too. Instead of using plastic screen why not just use 2 gorilla glasses

                      😂 Lol, Android 7.0. Oh well, at least people who would prefer it may be able to get a flat screen out of this, if they're willing to sign on with dirtbag AT&T.

                        Interesting, but let's see.

                          The super bulky, bezel full, flat S8 finally comes. Just the way critics love it. Big battery, physical keys, zero gimmicks. Yet, still full of complains no matter what. Someone out there will point out a flaw in 3...2...1...

                            The Galaxy S Active versions usually have larger capacity batteries. The S7 has a 3000 mAh battery while the S7 Active have a 4000 mAh. That was a very impressive difference. I wonder how much higher the S8 Active battery will be.

                              The display of s8 active would be the most interesting part. If samsung manages to cram the infinity display (including the edge screen) in active then it will be the best of both worlds. However, looking at past actives, the display is probably gonna be a plastic one and possibility of edge screen is highly unlikely.

A resistive touchscreen may be a good idea but it's not really suitable for daily use.

                                  Maybe solution to weak corners?
