The battery gets better, but the camera gets worse. The smoothness get better as well. You choose what it suits better for your usage. I got back to marshmallow because of the camera. I bought a couple of extra batteries and am surviving this way.

Seriously...2019..no updates,Lg g4 has gotten way too slow. IT is a shame because even with the new phones coming out,it's still got the most amazing camera,yet LG is not taking advantage of their phones.

Almost every use... moreyes the LG G4 H818p is still being used and to my experience it is an extremely good phone for light and heavy use! Large screen, removable battery, very good camera, stock ROM good and battery performance ok, good speaker quality, good connectivity. And also good GPS module which I have to use and am often using the phone as a navigation system. Really would love to get Android 7.x on the H818p and does any one have more info?

Likeswhisky, 24 Jul 2017Great, an update for the remaining devices that did not Boo... moreAlso have an LG G4 H818p international / free (not branded) version since > 1 year and am very happy with it - I have NO boot-loops or similar issues, overall functionality in heavy-duty-use and light use is good.
So I am also interested to know if Android 7.x will arrive on this device, have checked it with LG Bridge, nothing yet.
Personally I still consider this a good device and enjoy using it.
So does any one have more information?
