        LMAO motorola CEO itself agreed android is waste.

        what happend to all hype and commercials made by motorola ? Poor XOOM poor Droids .
        RIP

        now motorola and next year samsung

        after 2 years ?
        samsung runs = BADA OS
        motorola = Some creepy new OS or Windows 7
        nokia = Windows 7
        iphone = iOS (always)

        hehe fragmentation issues started

        open market doesnt mean Android rules.

        Internet explorer-9 and blackberry os-7 browsers kicked both android/iOS interms of performance .

        Google wake UP !!!!!!

        apple and Nokia can live somehow with their new products atleast they are unique (not copycats like google)

                  Funny thing is, that HTC, Samsung manage just fine. Then again they have reasonably up to date software on their devices! The new Atrix still ships with Atrix for heavens sake! It does thend to suggest they don't make any real effort so is it hardly suprising they have issues!!

                      The Motorola CEO hit the hammer on the nail with that one! Why anyone would make an operating system open source and not expect malware and viruses is beyond me! and its already the number two destination for malware attacks so dont blame the blur blame open source!

                            Whilst other manufacturers, most notably Sony Ericsson, seem to be making their front end to Android a lot lighter so that it doesn't get in the way of things like Android updates, Motorola seem to be looking for any excuse to beef theirs up a bit.
                            I'd rather buy a phone from a manufacturer who provides a solid, reliable, feature rich hardware platform with good support and timely firmware updates rather than from someone who uses a fancy user interface to hide the fact that they're not wearing any pants. Motorola does seem to be providing decent hardware at the moment but I'm not likely to go Moto until such a time that I could be confident about leaving the store feeling happy with my new purchase rather than with the thought "I wonder if it'll ever make it to Gingerbread" running through my head.

                                I have been telling people this for years. The only problem is, most users don't know anything about technology and are totally unaware of this. In Google rush to become number 1, they have left the user totally exposed to hackers, spyware and viruses. In addition, the moment you sign in to Google (synch contacts\ calendar or gmail) there are about 6 background services that are started and they never stop ( consuming battery and performance). Plus google starts its location process to track users and what they do on the phone, which analyze and then sell. Data plan have changed, and if users don't know it, we are paying to allow google to use or data plan whenever they feel like. To this point, this background data collect uses about 1/3 of what you see in your usage. My question to users is.....is Android the best OS?? Think about what I said before answering this question. My Answer is NO! Windows phone 7 & Apple IOS does a much better job at protecting the user. This open source vs. closed source !!

                                    [deleted post]Right and next you'll tell me that closed source Windows Mobile didn't have any malware. Use some common sense, the OS was not the cause of the issue. That's like saying a vault is useless because the owner left it unlocked.
