Nice, the only new smartphone from Nokia to use Meego before they move to Windows 7. Can anyone say 'No developers?' = no programs.

What a beuatiful phone Nokia. I would love to get my hands on one of these. I also would love to try out the MeeGo operating system. I am thinking that it well be a nice competitor against Android and ios. But what i don't like is the microSIM card slot. I live in Alaska where we only have standard sim. But Still.

AnonD-1036, 23 Jun 2011"any news about nokia devices sum the biggest number o... moreThis is one of the most smart comments I read today in Nokia forums.

You see, I have (as every body else) some freinds and all of them uses phones, but, is clear, only the more techies uses complicated phones like Android and WP7, since we like to use all the options on it. Some other friends like iPhone too BUT they are affraid of the Jailbreak process and aterrorized of every update that blocks their phone :P

But, the other part uses Just Nokias, from 3220 to E7/N8, why, because these phones are very easy to use, are simply plug and play phones, no programming, no root, no jailbreak, nothing, the only part techie for them is the signature of apps and that's it. Even download Nokia Maps and that stuff is soo easy.

They don't like navigate between thousands of windows, or programm the phone, or search for new Apps at some store, even the Nokia store is so easy to use that my 7 years niece knows how to download and install angry birds from OVI/Nokia Store.

This is one main reason for Nokia sales and Nokia likeness of the people. The average Joe need something to communicate, not something to complicate his life.

I love Android, WP7 and iOS, but my wife don't, she like go to Facebook, read her mails/SMS, send messages, take a lot of pictures/videos and call anywhere.

When she take my Droid X she's affraid of the menus, but, when she uses my 5320 she liked, in facts, she's using an LG Coockie, and want an N8, not for the techies, just for the camera. She don't care what the phone does. She only need something that can use it without any manual or guide. And wants shes batterie longs last. She laught at me when my Moto runs out of batterie because she seid I need spare batteries for mi Droid.. And she's right :P

That's why averyone loves Nokia, is simple to use, hard to break, easy to find parts and accesories, no propietary at 100%...at least...
This why they sold millions of handsets at India, Africa, Latin America, because there's is people that dont need anything fancy, just a good phone to communicate...Just connecting People :D

i really do agree with this!..

and my friend asks me cause he wants to buy a phone..
i recommend him to buy sgs too...

I would not be surprised if only a few carriers will offer this phone. It's a good sign though. The design is awesome and it hints at what Nokia's WP devices might look like.

However, is nice looking at people working to get better options inside the same OS.

Nokia need a little push for start to climb again this gard war of OS's. I love nokia phones I dislike a little the actual OS, I wish can see any time soon W Series.

For now I'm impressed of running Android apps on Nokia, but I think is better get the real stuff :P

For average joe, theres no need to have too many techies-phones around, Meego, Android, WP7, Symbian, WebOS, Bada, iOS any phone this guy grabs is cool and new :D

Nokia, first and foremost, can you rescind your decision on abandoning Meego? Launch this sleek product next month! Any delay would jeopardise sales big time. I ADORE THIS PIECE AND I SHARE THIS ADORATION WITH MANY PEOPLE

If they do this global, Nokia lovers will not need android at all (as long as any other OS) I read they are working already in WP7 and iOS plataform to run Android Apps....I smell a leak of users here if this run smooth and every one can install it on their own fav. phone without the need of change phones..

Although this seems like a nice phone Nokia is still screwed over, even more now after the good reports by people who used the MeeGo devices, Nokia abandoned MeeGo because they believed it was a doomed platform but it has turned to be quite a promising platform but Nokia has now made a commitment of sorts to Microsoft, and trust me you dont screw with MS.
