Wake up LG wake up at least now….

Selling the Mobile phones is not the big deal…

Customer satisfaction is must …… we qre not at all satisfied with your product’s at least now release the Updates periodically, I’ve purchased the Optimus Black and waiting for the Gingerbread still when competitors are planning for releasing the Ice cream Sandwich this is too bad, if this is the case how can I recommend LG for others..

      Very true!
If I pay 300-400 euros for a phone, I expect it to be top-notch; something LG phones aren't.
And I don't care about pretty-looking silly phones like the Prada or Armani that just look good and cost over the roof.
LG (and Samsung) needs to realize this.

LG really needs to release the true 720p (non-pentile) Optimus LTE in the US. It would be a huge success.

LG deserves to be in trouble and paid the penalty.

LG has the slow-motion attitude for after sales supports and services.

LG failed in the after follow-up of major upgrades and firmware updates support for mobile.

The amount of complaints from users. They are frustrated awaiting for enhancements for their mobiles.

New and potential buyers are put-off and stay away after reading and getting to know so much negatives views on LG Mobile.

LG makes shitty phones and Customers will give you shitty results. I was the fist Customer to buy KM 900 which was supposed to be Iphone beater at that time as per their advertising. It was no where near that and with ohone swithing off automatically and calls going to someone else than the person i am calling. That was the end. I garbaged that phone in 2 months and inform all i can not to purchase LG. So trust is lost so they can bring the best phone in the world and they would continue to loose market share. From that day no LG products-Be it TV or Refrigerator or AC or anything else. Best of luck LG.

I have used 3 LG phones for the past 2 years. and now I own a LG Optimus Black. I must say the design is AWESOME and the feautures are good as well for it's affordable price. But when it comes to the software and after-sale support, it's reallt dissapointing! I hope that they will release a very good sw this november as they promised. I updated my Optimus One with the official gingerbread update and nothing seemed to change! after waiting for a looong time, getting a mediocre sw update is non sense. Now Im thinking to switch to sony ericsson! Wake up LG!!!!'

Think we are in agreement with the basic facts:

LG profits drop basically because of the lack of customer care/support, they have heard from us with our comments but i doubt they will take the information onboard.

When I see how users are going wild on forums waiting for software updates, seems that it is best to invest 100 € more nad buy HTC Sensation. Their UI is most complete one on android Smartphones.
Never the less, I would go for Huawei Honor since it is announced as dirt cheap, but there is no info when it will come to Europe...

It's partially about marketing but also about not having complete devices. They look good on paper but don't really feel right in real life. You have the first dual core phone but with mediocre screen, camera, battery life and with software glitches. The first 3d phone - nobody cares or wants 3d phones. Optimus Black - now it's a very good phone, it gets heavy marketing too, it's one of the most stylish phones released this year but.. it lacks better camera (seriously) and software isn't optimized properly so it feels slower than competition packing similar power. There are these details that make LG phones seem like Siemens phones in late 90s. They are very good but they're never as complete as they look on paper.

LG makes same mistake as Samsung with first Galaxy i7500. Good customized software and on-time updates are important as much as good hardware.
Those companies keep forgetting that high end Android phones are usually purchased by demanding users (others who want to look good usually buy IPhone)
Such users, if software updates does not follow get pissed off, share information with others and do not want to buy again.

thats what happens when you treat your customers with contempt...repeat sales are what keeps companies going so when you get treated badly by lgs so called customer support it makes you go elsewhere theres a huge choice out there it really is a buyers market so when you get told your lg 3d is going to get updated in october and it hasnt happened you go to htc who update alot better....

I love LG and their products. They do amazing job in inventing new features and are producing very attractive phones.

The problem is - LG is not so widely distributed as Samsung / Nokia / iPhone phones. I would buy the Optimus 3D over Samsung Galaxy S II, the problem is that the Optimus 3D is not offered in my local shops In France - SFR , Orange, Bouygues. How could people discover it ?

                                    why?
because lg black, 2x and 3d are still running FROYO
gingerbread may arrive "anytime soon" while everyone else (like sony E) are betting in ICS

BUYERS are not stupid LG !!!!

Something is really wrong. LG should be selling lots of smartphones right now because they are the first. They should hire more competent people in the marketing team. They are not releasing enough cool commercials. And people buy smartphones because they want to look cool.

I love LGs technology and forward thinking, but they seriously need to keep their phones updated with the latest updated OS. Sony Ericsson had exactly the same issue with the original Xperia line - outdated OS and extremely slow with updating them. Consumers lose faith when this happens and a bad reputation spreads very quickly.

Pull your socks up LG and invest in your customer service and expectations - no point bring out cutting-edge technology and then leaving it for dead while others steal your innovation and run with it with quick updates and service
