Cameras are a novelty on smartphones, if you want a decent picture, buy a D-SLR camera.
The real problem with these devices, is the battery life. The fact is that until they develop a safer, stronger and longer lasting battery technology, we are all going to have to keep re-charging our phones once or twice a day.
To my eyes, innovation in a smartphone is not putting voice command (especially when its still in beta testing) onto an iPhone 4 and calling it a 4S. True innovation will come when they develop BRAND NEW technology.
Also, for the guy with the camera stats, if you think the bigger the MP, the better the camera, then you're sadly mistaken. It's more down to actual hardware rather than how many pixels it can produce.

this camera thing is unrelated to the topic but seriously we need better cameras.the camera phones released this year are worse than the ones released in 2008-2009 common slim is only for iphone(only for dumb people who show off)thickness wont matter juct make better cameras and batteries.

Galaxy S looks same as iPhone 3gs.
