[deleted post]I would disagree with again. Nokia update usually made specific for each model. So, Symbian Belle for N8 might have different thing inside compare to other model. Even more, what the guy trying to say is review of the improvement the N8 has after been updated compare to when it is still using the old Symbian^3. Who says it is waste of time, GSMArena has done that for Xperia X10 when SE eventually update it after long delay. I see that, u r such a hater for Nokia devices, so i think u should not comment more since all ur comment r negative without any much valid reason.

[deleted post]I disagree with u. They hv added continuous autofocus for N8 as BETA version in separate update, so i would expect it to be embedded in the Belle update for N8 as the finalize version. Who says Nokia hate improvement. That is improvement.

The upkeep of delay also annoys consumers...
first Nokia said it won't be for C7 n C6-01 as it wasn't under the listed device. And now when it was to release by this fall, it's delayed to 2012...i just hope they don't delay up to the end of 2012!

It's a whole new mobile phone with the newer software. I have a C7 flashed with leaked Belle firmware, just brilliant. Widgets are much better, it's faster and the drop-down menu is so helpful... it is BELLE [beautiful]! In addition to that, my battery never died, and not one restart since I flashed it, it's just awesome.

[deleted post]I don't know which business u r talking, but it is common to not producing something that going to be redundant. Samsung did not release ICS to SGS2 yet even though they have release new Nexus with ICS...SGS2 is their flagship, why not release ICS to SGS2 now? Now u answer that my friend..it is all because to protect their new flagship product, but previous flagship will still eventually be updated but just not at almost the same moment when new product is released. What make Nokia fail is not because of their lack of support in product update, in fact they r of few brand that constantly updating their product, but because of they have left behind in term of giving new things to new generation of consumers.

it means they will make a decision early in 2012 to release the device by the fourth quarter while announcing it will be done soon in a few months and finally actually delivering the goods a year later

absolutely loving my N8 after I flashed the Belle files that were available on Navifirm... GSMarena SHOULD do another review of the N8 when Belle officially hits the phones around the world as it really is something very special and worth the extra effort

Fully agreed by comment from @Sun Down and @Valborg. Current Symbian Belle (eg. Nokia 701) will surely loose it sparkle and relevant if old device receive Belle at almost the same time as new Belle phone been released and that will probably reduce sell of new Symbian Belle phones. That is logic in business and have been done by so many brand as well.
